Overall great product. Christmas present for my daughter. She needed more space in her room. This did the trick and she really likes it. Its been assembled since December 25, 2016 and seems very sturdy so far. No assembly problems, doesnt squeak or rattle, Im 510 and 165 lbs and I fit just fine on it. Under the bed she has a full size office chair at the desk and a second comfy chair for lounging and reading. Everything fits just fine with plenty of headspace. Were very pleased. Really nice looking furniture.
When the item arrived, I was concerned. The packaging had holes, gouges, scratches, and was partially open on one end. Once I unboxed everything, I found there was NO damage at all. There were no missing parts, etc.
I just put the frame together, but wanted to go ahead and write a review. The design and construction quality is top notch. If you have put any furniture together in the past, you will be greatly impressed with this frame. Everything fit perfectly.
One hint I would give is to leave the screws slightly loose until you have all of the pieces together. Then go back and tighten everything up. I realized this after the first few pieces and the frame went together easily. Good product and definitely a value of a purchase.
We bought this for our daughters 10th birthday. She shares a room with her younger sister who is a year old. We decided that she needed more of her own space within the room. To do that is hard in a 10x12 bedroom. My wife did a lot of research on beds with idea that a loft bed would provide more room. We choose this one for the desk and that it was a full sized mattress because we did not want to buy a new mattress.
It took about 4 hours to get put together and the instructions are not the best but I have dealt with worse. To hide the surprise, I started building in the garage and then moved the completed sides to the bedroom to complete when she was not home. I was able to complete the whole thing by myself with the tools provided.
We love that it has 2 ladders and have hung a shower curtain around the bottom of the mattress to give privacy and 2 chairs. One for the desk where she works on her legos and art projects and the other is a comfy folding chair for her to read it. She loves it and has decorated it. It fits a small book shelf under it but I have to fasten it to the bed frame since the bottom of the frame has bars that keeps it away from the wall.
The bed is very solid. More that I expected it to be for the price. I have been up on it at 230 pounds and it held solid. I can shake it but it does not have the feel of a frame that will collapse. It works well and has lasted with no issues so far. Will recommend it for other looking for a bit more room. Beautiful color good quality
The product is sturdy and well built but the opening is a bit tight for an adult or teen to get through when climbing the ladder. The top of the ladder also arrived damaged. It is still very usable, just uncomfortable on your hand when climbing to the top. I did not report it because my son was needing the bed right away and I didnt feel like dealing with returning it. It Perfect size and color for my needs.

Im going to start by saying that I love this bed.once its put together. It was a HUGE pain to put together, though! I was able to do it mostly by myself (my husband has no patience for construction), with only a little help steadying the largest pieces. The problem I had was many of the holes did not line up. MANY. Fortunately, I didnt strip anything out in the process, but trying to get it to work without damaging the metal was tough. It took about 4 hours total for construction, mostly because the slats are time consuming with several tiny pieces to attach. BUT after it was all assembled, it is awesome! The bed is very sturdy. The silver color is more of a grey than the metallic I was expecting, but it doesnt look bad. The desktop is a lot more heavy duty than I was expecting, as well. I purchased this for my 9 year old son, who absolutely loves it and cant wait for his computer to get set up on it. very reasonably priced as well.
