i put it together easily. aside from a few very minor wood scratches, etc., the bed is holding up wonderfully and it looks nice. ***tip with bunkbeds, for the lower bunk, purchase bunkbed slats or thin box-springs... :)
Comfortable, and looks nice too. This bed surprised me on the quality as I was putting it together. Its solid wood, and the dowels, and other hardware are very nice. Nice and thick dowels, and long screws. It should last us a while. You do need to air out the bed after setting it up for a while. It does have a paint/chemical smell for a few hours, but it was gone quickly. My wife and I love the fact that this bed can be two separate beds, or work as a bunk bed. Thats one of the main reasons we got it. The twin bed alone does stand higher up than a typical twin mattress frame, but its not anything we cant work around.
Easy to assemble, light smell Solid wood and sturdy. Took about 3.5 hours to assemble by myself but the instructions were easy to follow. Of course needed help lifting the top bunk into place. Looks great and would highly recommend!

Some issues with bolts with faulty threading, but nothing you cant get from a local hardware store and it was only one or two out of the entire bunch. Easy to follow instructions, clearly labeled pieces, i made this by myself!! (single mom with tools!)
