Easy to put together Two pieces were cracked upon unpacking.
Several pre-Drilled holes did not line up.
Were (3) screws (2 different) short - had to go to Home Depot to replace with as close as we could find.
The overall build process was not terrible, but could have been greatly improved upon.
They should provide the instructions (in addition too very small print) in electronic (.pdf) format to make zooming in possible as there were several times the extremely small print was difficult to decipher.
Once built, the unit is fairly strong and good looking.
We initially put a 6 box spring mattress on the top (twin) bed, but have since changed it to a 6 Foam mattress as our two year old grandson keeps using it for a bouncy trampoline. We put a Foam Full on the bottom.

The bed is super pretty and I ordered this for my kids as a replacement to their trundle bed they had. It was estimated to arrive between July 29-Aug 9 as it was shipping from Brazil, but came a week after I ordered and was surprised. Right off the bat, there was a lot of paint chipped, wood chipped, and parts that were longer or shorter than others. This was THE BIGGEST pain to put together. The instructions made no sense and we were short a TON of screws. All of the pre-drilled holes that the manufacturer had placed were pretty much all misaligned, and the pieces werent all labeled, making it that much harder to put together. It literally took all day (11am-7:30pm) for my husband to put together, and he is incredibly skilled and handy at these kinds of things. The stairs were probably the worst to put together and overall the bed feels like it wont last long. Poor craftsmanship all around. The only reason Im giving 3 stars is when I contacted the seller to cancel my order as I found a different bed, they said they couldnt cancel the order but offered me a $30 refund for the trouble.
Its worth every penny. Smart buy. We are very pleased with this bunk bed set. We looked at a lot of different beds but we just really liked how this one looked. The stairs with bookshelves is very nice. Overall quality is very good. Much better than other flat packed furniture Ive assembled in the past. Its made from real wood and not particle board. The hardware included was also better quality than most. I was quite impressed. There was only one defect I found. A board wasnt fully drilled. I was able to drill it myself. So it wasnt a big problem. But that being said this has a lot of parts. Its a fairly intense assembly process. It comes in three large boxes. So be prepared for that. My experience was good overall. My family really likes the bed. The price was actually very reasonable in my opinion a very good value.
We absolutely love this!!!! The bunk bed went together as directed. The hardware was labeled and sealed on a bubble card. All went well and we are pleased with the purchase. It is sturdy and a good value.
So easy to put together for someone as mechanically challenged as I am. Alot of the parts youll have to make your own holes in the boards they dont come with the holes in them... But it is easy to assemble its alot of screws so Id admit if youre not patient dont try to do it by yourself...
For the price it is a reasonable buy Very nice bunk beds for the price. Fairly easy to put together except when attaching the steps. The holes didnt align and steps could be a bit sturdier. Storage drawer under bed is a big bonus to hold toys!
Gorgeous color and design Love this bed! Pretty easy to put together and is very sturdy! Love the storage space under the bed and under the stairs. Helps keep the room tidy. Daughter loves it!
Elegant and very comfortable We love this bunk bed. Took a while to put together and does come in 3 separate boxes. The only thing that we didnt like is that a small piece came off, but it was an easy fix with some wood glue. Other than that a very sturdy bed. Kids love it!
