Very pleased with this purchase! I purchased 2 of these for our master bedroom. They are very sleek looking, sturdy tables. I didn't have any issues with putting them together - with the exception that on one of the tables the screws provided for the drawer pulls were too long but this was an easy fix with a screw set from Walmart that cost me less than two dollars. Also, one of the tables did not come with enough cam locks to put one of the drawers together but that worked out fine as well because my husband liked the idea of just having a shelf in one of the space. These tables are on the smaller side, but I knew that per the listed dimensions and ordered them primarily for that reason. Again, all in all I am happy with this purchase.
Should have done this sooner, but I absolutely love, love, love, my table. When it came, all I had to do was attach the legs. Looks great in my foyer and the drawers still roll in and out just like they did when I first bought it.

Love the table. But when we received the table it was broken. My husband repaired it, because it would have been too much to pack it up and send back. Otherwise, a very study well built table.
This is actually a nice table. For the price I was expecting basically MDF with a veneer on it that looked OK. But it's solid wood, no veneer that I can see. Assembly is quite easy and the drawer, which again, for this price I expected to be on decent rails but nothing fancy, is on multi tiered ball bearing sliders. It moves easily and opens fully.
Past the build quality it also looks VERY nice. It's a nice finish, nice wood and a good looking bit of furniture. Everything came wrapped separately to protect the finish so it comes out of the box looking good. They even mark on the box to remind you to cut shallowly so that you don't scratch it.
In all, this was a much nicer table than I would have expected.
I absolutely love this table! I was very hesitant in ordering a piece of furniture over the internet, but I am so happy I stepped out of my comfort zone and did it. It is exactly what I wanted, and beautiful as well. I have been looking for over a year for a table of this size, quality, sturdiness, nice looking, affordable, having the lower shelf for my cpap machine, and still have the full use of the table top. The drawer is an added bonus. I live on a fixed income, but I didn't want to buy something that I just had to settle for, because it was inexpensive.. All the tables like this that I found in department stores and furniture stores were 2 or three times the cost as this one. It arrived in perfect condition, no marks or scratches. It was sooooo easy to put together, and everything lined up perfectly. It is a high quality, beautiful piece of furniture. It is solid wood and very sturdy, there is no wobble at all. The drawer is well made, and comes out all the way which makes it easy to find what you're looking for. I am so glad I waited to find exactly what I wanted! Thank you
Solid wood, stable on its legs, and beautiful. The wood grain is visible even in the deep cherry finish, which glows with a warm reflective quality. It is not difficult to assemble but does require patience and dexterity; what I mean is it is a heavy solid wood table and even though small, one must balance the table top on its side while attaching legs (and then the shelf!). It can be done alone (I, a petite female did it!) if one possesses some upper body strength and is not easily frustrated. Sometimes the little Allen wrench slips from the screw top! Also, please assemble in bright light because you will need to attach the legs and screws into dark corners (angles) of the table! When it was assembled, I was thrilled. This was my second Laurent piece (I also purchased the companion console table, which is exquisite, though doubly difficult in assembly.). It is classic, classy, adds elegance to any room, and utilitarian.
