It took most of a day but we put it together and my daughter loves it! The bed looks really great and feels sturdy. So far we are happy with this purchase. I like it.
What you need to know about the high loft with wraparound desk! 1. Bed came in two boxes. Make sure you open both boxes (unlike me) because there are two sets of instructions and they assemble in a very different order! 2. I put this bed together by myself except for an extra hand long enough to insert the boards joining the head and footboard, so it can be done alone otherwise. 3. This was the worst part! There are a ton of screws/rods and they came in one loose gallon sized bag!! I spent the first 30/45 minutes using the instructions to figure out which was which and spread them out with post it notes labeled with the part numbers. 4. Have a drill for securing the track of slats for the mattress support. I repeat.have a drill! 5. Buy this bed! Its gorgeous and sturdy and my daughter loves it! Wow!! This was a great buy!!
After searching for months and ordering others that came in without parts or unclear instructions, we found this one and its perfect. We bought the one with shelves and the desk and we love it. Its sturdy, looks nice, deep enough for a decent mattress, and the wood looks nice. Best one we found and a really good price and I shopped around in stores and online for months!! cute.
Clean and gorgeous design. Love the fact that this is SOLID WOOD! Spend the extra money and get this companys products! I read reviews on so many others with much lower weight ratings and they seemed to not have the great materials this bed has. Its so sturdy and the configuration of the desk and shelves is super functional. I also really liked the fact that you could choose the ladder side. My kiddo got it as a surprise and LOVES it. It was packed well and easy to assemble. Yes, Its great. loves it.
My daughter wanted a new bed that created options in her room. This bed is beautiful and pretty easy to assemble. A few times I did need help holding a piece or two up. The bed wasnt very sturdy on my hard wood floor until I put down the area carpet and pad. I didnt think my daughter would fall out, just didnt like the wiggle when she moved around a lot. Like!
Definitely a great bed for small rooms. I threw out my eldest daughters bed and got this one for the purpose of needing extra storage space for my newborns clothes and other necessities. I was able to fit 4 plastic drawers and a 3 shelve console table underneath the bed. And I still had space on the other side for the bulky boxes. Bed is pretty sturdy and my daughter likes it . Beautiful and Sturdy.
We bought this bed for our great granddaughter and she loves it but, the instructions for assembly was very disappointing because all the instructions provided were pictures of the parts to be assembled. No written instruction provided whatsoever, only pictures of the parts and the bolts, screws, etc. So for us, assembly took a lot longer than necessary. It works.
Unpack the box and put the boards in number order, determining the bolt numbers was a pain since they are not numbered so count the amount of each to determine the use. Love the book shelf and was easy to assemble with two people. Works well.
Once together the bed was sturdy. We he directions are horrible and none of the hardware is labeled. There is a page of the instructions that has all of the hardware pictured but they arent actual size so trying to identify which bolts were which was difficult. There are also multiple places in the directions where a part number was left out or wrong. Other places where steps were skipped entirely. This took 3 hours to put together, would have been at least an hour less if the directions were clear and parts labeled. Not best.
This is a great investment for a kids bedroom set. My two kids share a room, and I wanted them to be able to have their own floor space. The ladder is sturdy enough to accommodate them (aged 3 and 8). My husband and I climb up the ladder, but we are careful about it as I dont think it would hold up too long with adults. The bed arrived with a few blemishes through shipping, but I was aware that this may happen based on other reviews. Im just glad it made it to my house at all in one piece with the way shipping has been lately. My kids are happy with their new bed sets, and that is all that matters! Good Product.
