The box was heavy. I was able to maneuver it myself, but it comes in a really long box and it was a lil hassle to handle, most people would need help.
The assembly was easy! Took me about a half hour. Take the leap! It's gorgeous and sturdy.
Assembly is not at all difficult - just takes a bit of time. That said, I'm 70 years old and spent a lot of time moving the stool around I was sitting on while assembling the bed - bad knees. The assembly instructions are via large step-by-step pictures. Every single part is labeled, so it is simply a matter of bolting together part A to part A - easy. The hardware is in a blister pack. Each type of part is labeled with a letter. That letter is then shown in the picture, so it is easy to tell which bolt to use when assembling the bed. Also, there was exactly the right number of pieces of hardware. If however, a part is misplaced, not sent, etc. The picture shows the extra pieces of hardware included. Also, notice the little ratchet wrench in the picture, which is included. Instead of just using the typical Allen Wrench, this ratchet wrench cuts assembly time by about a third. It is much more comfortable in the hand than an Allen Wrench
I purchased the Antique Espresso, and the wood is a much deeper richer color, with various wood grains visible than the picture in the listing. I've tried to capture that in my pictures. Also, the picture in the listing looks like the headboard is way to tall. However, once you add the mattress, it is perfect. Fit and finish is impeccable. Almost wish I needed another bed frame, I'd go with this company in heartbeat.
This was super easy to set up; took no more than 20 minutes. I havent experienced any wobbling or squeaking yet either! The headboard is a little low and comes just a couple of inches over a standard box spring and mattress, but you could probably forego the box spring.
This arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. So far so good, really sturdy and nice looking frame that supports our heavy latex/wool mattress. And the price can't be beat.

Too small for mattress
We bought a full mattress and it hangs over the frame. This bed frame is only good for cheap mattresses that are thin.
