    Just what we needed

Thanks to COVID, I have 2 big boys staying in 1 room and they both need work spaces. We decided to give this bed a try for one of the boys and it works! Since it was bought for my 14 year old son, I made him help me. Altogether, including breaks, It took about 3.5 hours to put together. Satisfied

Ideal for celibate monks and maybe 13 year olds, not so much for couples with any coital desires

I decided to purchase this freestanding loft frame because I am renting a tiny New York City apartment (aka closet) and would like a small desk underneath this to be a productive human being. Upon reading rave reviews that the Full Loft Bed was easy to put together and was very sturdy, I decided to purchase this. No doubt, this was definitely a pricey purchase at 219.07 USD. I opted to split this into monthly payments given the steep price, adding these installments to my crippling monthly college debt payments. I am a small and short (but strong!) woman, who believes in when there is a will, theres a way. I alone put together this bed in about 5 hours. I highly recommend grabbing another person who owes you favors because it was not easy. 0/10 would not recommend the complex, highly SPECIFIC assembly process for one poor human to suffer through alone. Like many others who have mentioned the pieces dont exactly fit together, and youll have to loosen past joints to fit your next few. Also, do NOT be an idiot and assume that G and H are interchangeable, because they arent. Also dont assume that E and F are interchangeable, because they arent. Assembly requires coffee, a non/hungover state of being, and a well/fed belly. Otherwise, you may be tired, frustrated, and hangry, first at the half/put together loft bed, and then at whose reviews listed such POSITIVE qualities! Looking around at the utter disaster, you couldnt find ANY positive qualities present. For a bed that is 219 and some, shouldnt assembly be a piece of cake? After finally assembling this demanding bedframe, placing it where I wanted, cleaning up the mess that this bedframe put my room in, I finally hauled the mattress over the edge of frame (yes, also alone, I am proud of myself) and started putting my bedsheets back on. And holy moly, this bed is NOT AT ALL STABLE! Any lateral movements on the bed generated loud creaks and a concerning wobble. My partner and I attempted to have intercourse on this loft bed and both of us lost our excitement for each other as our concern for our safety grew. We decided to head back to his place with a bottle of wine and relief that his bed was much closer to the floor and our lives would not be in jeopardy during vigorous adult activities. Overall, not super thrilled with this bed. You can probably put together a much stronger, sturdier, cheaper loft bed from a DIY template. I thought about all the modifications I could make, ie. drilling the posts to a stud, replacing the ladder, or whatever. I dont know if its worth it since I will probably sell it on craigslist within the next couple of months after I finally get sick and tired with all the faults in s loft bed, or when I move out of NYCs housing crisis. Whichever one comes first.

    Perfect fit

I read all the reviews saying it was so hard to put together and the pieces didnt fit— I didnt have a single issue with assembly, it was actually incredibly easy and straight forward and all the pieces fit perfectly. One of the pieces is about an inch too short but it doesnt affect the whole product. Its not super sturdy but its fine for a 6 year old. My kid is super excited for his new room set up and Im happy with all the extra space. Buying another !

    Just what I needed!

Had a small space to work with and wanted to maximize it. With online school he also needed a desk. Best of both combined in one. Assembly took one person almost 3 hours. There are quite a few steps and sometimes the instructions took some brain power but we managed. The labeling of pieces helps. My kid loves it. It does move a little when he treats it like a monkey bars and swings but not other than that. But hes small (60 pounds) so the ladder stands still when he is on it. Overallgreat purchase, highly recommend One of my best buys.

    Sturdy and Useful

Bought two great value for the money, durable. 26/year/old male here. I bought this loft bed after moving to a bustling Chicago neighborhood with notoriously small bedrooms, and I love the space it creates for other pieces of furniture under the bed. The ladder steps are killer on the feet, as others have said, but there are solutions to that. The frame is sturdy and quiet. It could be that I tightened all the screws just right. I maybe spent 3 hours building this thing on my own, but some help is strongly recommended. Over all, I am very satisfied with the quality of this product.

    Great bed for price.

Got this to add some space in sons room. Hubbs said it was fairly simple to assemble and I am suprised with the sturdiness of the bed. Son loves it. Quick ship.

Kids love it, takes up little space if you have high ceilings, ladder needs improvement but Id buy again

Great Product. The bed is heavy and takes a while to set up but is worth it. We have the bed on top and underneath is an desk, so its a great little nook. We already had the desk so putting the bed over it didnt take up much more space in our room since we built up instead of out. As with many heavy items there was some damage in shipping so be sure to inspect it carefully. I would definitely purchase this again. As many other people have noted, the rungs on the ladder are way too narrow and hurt anyones feet when you climb it. Some dollar store pool noodles fixed that for us, see the pic. Youll need a 6 or less mattress for the guard rails to be useful. My kids love it and made the top bunk a fort.

Nice sturdy bed with great desk area

Pretty easy to assemble with two adults, only had one hole that was a little difficult. It feels solid and well made, though it does shake a bit when you climb the ladder. It doesnt bother my 13 year old. Desk material is nicer than I expected for the cost. Overall pleased with purchase and kid loves it. This is really easy to assemble and pretty sturdy.
