Love love love this bench. Quality is great. Looks beautiful in my bedroom. It was exactly what I needed. The color is a rich expresso brown with a lovely sheen.
It seemed like a nice bench but the screws in the hinges were sheared and the lid wasnt attached when it was delivered. I returned it. The packaging was intact but the bench was damaged.
Its the size and color that I had expected. But there is a distinct offensive chemical odor from the material. I do not want to ship this large thing back, and can only hope it dissipates soon.
Very pleased with this. Sturdy enough for my 200lb husband to sit on when putting socks and shoes on. I did find the height of the ottoman to be rather low, so I replaced the legs with some 5 inch wood legs I found here on . The extra height made a huge difference in terms of comfort for old knees and making the ottoman look more expensive than it was.
Absolutely LOVE this. In fact, when I received the first one, I decided to order another one and make them into a cozy corner in my spa. Perfect color (a darker than expected, but beautiful) and GREAT storage. Arrived in 2 days, in perfect condition and so so easy to install in your perfect spot. Cant say it enough: LOVE!

Nice material, sturdy and matches the online photos. Happy with this purchase. Using it at the end of my queen size bed to store blackest and pillows.
