The chair we had in our home office was KILLING my back.
This has been a life/saver of an investment so far. The main bucket is a bit heavy so when assembling you may want to have an additional person who can help but assembly was overall easy. The only thing I wish is that the fixtures would be gold instead of silver. Alas Very comfortable. I also think office chairs are generally quite ugly, especially the large plastic/looking ones that seem ergonomic. This chair is comfortable and looks better in the home than typical cubicle chairs. The higher back and arms on this are key for comfort.
The chair is super easy to assemble, just clicking into place no tools needed which is nice, but the chair is pretty small, would not recommend for a big human being but for a young woman/child this is the perfect size.
Gorgeous chair, especially compared to your basic office or executive chair. The arm rests are purely decorative. They are too low to be of use to an adult plus they are so narrow even if you tried to rest your arm on one its uncomfortable and takes a bit of effort to try and balance your arm on the rest. On the flipside, you can push this chair all the way into your desk when you finally go home after 12 hours in the office. Is this chair comfortable for 12 hours at a time? Absolutely not, but it is comfortable enough. I sprayed it down with Scotchgard because I am constantly paranoid Im going to write on it with my pen or spill something on it. Its basically your office furniture equivalent of a pair of high heel shoes / so pretty that you are willing to overlook the obvious design flaws resulting in discomfort and and decreased functionality. Ive had mine about three months; it gets used about 60 hours a week and still looks pristine. I was skeptical the seat cushion would hold up, but so far so good. At this price point its not something I would expect to last for a decade.
Bought this chair for my sister a week or so ago, she loves it! Its very comfortable to sit in and its design is very fitting for her room. It has a modern and simple look but the simplicity of it is makes it a satisfying piece of decor in her room. Would definitely recommend it as a gift.
