My cat loves to scratch it which has pulled some threads apart quickly already, but if you dont have an evil cat then Im sure you wouldnt have a problem with the .
I am a mid/sized grown woman and it works well for me, but I wouldnt recommend for plus/sized person or as the sides wrap around and may be a little uncomfortable.

This one is beautiful and I like it but it doesnt have enough of the kind of back support you need when youre at a computer for a stretch of time. Its still nice enough to be enjoyed elsewhere in the home though. Maybe at a vanity. Cant stop the kids from spinning on it now, too, its very smooth.
