    Great value for the price

This bed was so easy to assemble and it turned out really sturdy for my 8 year old. It looks really nice too! Overall, great value for the price.

    Measure your Mattress for Trundle!

My 15-year-old picked this bed out for herself. The bed is solid wood and extremely well-made! From start to finish the bed took me 2 1/2 hours to build Mind you, I am not well versed in building anything! Sure it takes a minute to sort out the Allen wrenches bolts and screws- but the directions were pictures and quite easy to follow! I poured myself some Bloody Marys, put on some 80s rock through my Alexia and got to work. My only hangup was the other twin mattress for the trundle did not fit under the bed. This was entirely my fault as it does state for 8 mattresses. Both of our twin mattresses are 10. Bummer. So, I just purchased some bed risers to help fix that problem. I do recommend this bed!

    Super Impressed!

For $199 plus change... this was a steal of a deal!! Great instructions... nicely pre-drilled... went together in a snap. Only thing is... they didnt pre-drill the slat holes on the longest pieces, so a drill was totally necessary. I always use gorilla wood glue to reinforce the connections. Super impressed!

Please do not buy this item

One of the most difficult things Ive had to put together. Some of the pieces did not fit and their supposed slots, awful instructions and just an overall difficult time. I literally had to duck tape half of it to stay in place until I got wood glue and my drill on it. In short; DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

    Good for the price

The bed is okay. After having it for a little time, we have noticed that is not as sturdy as when we first put it together. Its an okay frame for the price

    Shipping Damage

Item came with damage on several pieces of wood in different locations , allen head screws stripped out when putting any torque on them to tighten, wouldnt buy this product again, not worth trying to re-pack and return, wouldnt purchase again.

    Functional!

Quick tip--be sure to read ALL the instructions before starting. Each step has multiple steps and they sometimes contradict; at one point, when I was attaching the sides to the back, it said all throughout the steps to tighten the bolts, and then, after all was done, it said to not tighten them all the way so you can do the next step. Should have said that the first time you said to tighten!! Instructional issues aside, we got this to serve as a couch as well as a spare bed. It fits our perfectly normal twin mattress spot on, its high enough to support some hefty floor pillows as back cushions, and although its not heavy enough to be freestanding without scooting every time the baby rams it, its been very stable for us as long as its against the wall. Our other, traditional couch scoots about as easily, so its comparable to any other lighter piece of furniture. We keep the old drawers from the babys changing table underneath to hold her toys; theres plenty of clearance, so you could store other boxes down there. It looks pretty nice and does the job. In short, its exactly what it says it is!

It takes longer than 30 minutes and more than one person, despite what they say!

Very sturdy but not the easiest to put together. The little guardrail posts are the devil!!! They do not stay in place trying to assemble into the bottom guardrail. Either they need to find a way to have that already affixed or a better way to assemble it, but I got it done after 2 days, 2 people and wood glue. Other than that, lovely.
