Best 199.00 weve spent on A BED, EVER!

Our search for the right DAYBED for our guest room ended at the Asia Daybed on Prime! After an entire week sifting through online DAYBEDS, it seemed a wise ( what we thought might be) first shot! It was our ONLY shot, because it couldnt get any better! It arrived in 2 days, via Prime, in a tall, narrow compact ,singular box, with every piece present and accounted for. The directions are SIMPLE, the design is perfect for building a STURDY, STRONG STABLE, Square unit! It looks like it was made and delivered by a high end furniture store, and it took Sunni 2 all of 30 minutes, alone, to build. The value is EXCEPTIONAL; under 200.00 , free PRIME shipping!? It has 9 (NINE) sturdy, straight pine slats with spacers for constructing, all the screws are angled and countersunk. We had a very good pillow top 9 inch high single mattress that is PERFECT for it. When we purchase the slide under pop up trundle spring that matches the height of the bed ,when pushed together, guests at our house will have a KING BED on which to sleep. For now, we purchased a set of lovely single sheets and a matelasse coverlet set with pretty tie in back pillow shams in queen size for 2 reasons: Queen was the same price as twin , but gives us 2 gorgeous shams. The coverlet is scalloped and hangs JUSSST to the floor for a PERFECT look!We HIGHLY recommend this remarkable DAYBED.Just be certain whomever constructs it really knows how to tighten all the screws perfectly or youll end up with a wibbly wobbly bed.

    Gorgeous but not as sturdy

The bed is a gorgeous rich color. My only issue is that it seems to be a little flimsy so I would definitely not feel safe with anyone over 250 lbs on it.

I put this together by myself without too much trouble--Im only 56. The only tricky part was the slats on the long back rails of the frame. You need to have to tighten the screws just enough to keep it standing while loose enough to work the slats in but I got it done. I would suggest pulling the pieces out of the box and letting them sit for a a few days until the smell diminishes.

Great product, looks really good in the spare room

Great product, looks really good in the spare room. A little difficult to get the slats to stay put while getting the other pices in, but it can be done

    Great product for the price

Great product for the price. Cherry wood finish is great. Relatively easy to put together, but you will definitely want to have two people working together to put this together as several steps require more than two hands. Pretty sturdy, only a slight creak comes from the back rest area with only certain movements on the bed. Other than this, nice and sturdy without any extra movements with use.

This Daybed is a Sleeper of a Deal

It is an attractive daybed...not perfect but good for the price. Assembly was fairly straight forward, read and follow the directions and you will be fine. It is a two person job I think. Assemble the slates on the floor (use a bungy cord to hold everything together as you go to the next step) and do things in the recommended order. Not super strong and durable, if you are a young couple, a lot of activity may stress the bed... I put a 6 inch mattress on it and even at that there is not much railing left for lounging. I didnt go with an mattress. We found something at that is perfect: 6 inch with a memory foam layer, firm and nice. A little more money than the 6 inch but I will bet it is a more comfortable mattress. At I kea you can test out on the floor samples. is rolling the mattresses they sell so they will fit in a standard car truck!

    Completely Satisfied

The bed seems sturdy, and assembly is straightforward. It was packaged well, and all the parts were present and in perfect condition. The material appears to be of good quality. All the holes lined up as they should. The slats have countersunk holes set at an angle, which not only makes the screws easier to screw in, but also makes it less likely that the slats will split -- I though that was a nice touch. The only tool you need for assembly besides the provided allen wrench is a phillips-head screwdriver. The instructions specifically say not to use power tools -- they do not want you to over-drive the screws. But I used an electric screwdriver on the slats anyway, because there were a lot of screws. Just understand that these screws dont need to go in very tight. They are there only to keep the slats form moving around. Spacer blocks were provided to make it easy to get the right slat separation. That was a nice touch too. There is more room under the bed than I expected, which is great for storage. You can slide foot-high boxes under there with room to spare. Or foot-high monsters, I suppose.

Glad I did not buy from a furniture store

This bed is what had needed for years. I have guests all the time, and we had been using the sofas and air mattresses as beds. Recently I decided to go to local furniture store to buy a daybed with trundle but they did not have in stock and it was going to arrive two days after my guests. I checked and found this bed with amazing reviews and decided to give it a try. No regrets. It arrived the date it was promised. It was easy to assemble and it looks great. I also bought the trundle, and I am ready for my guests to arrive and show off.

    I loved this, its perfect

Bed was very nicely packaged, it was a tad bid difficult to build, would recommend having another person help hold as you tighten screws but very well put together and sturdy, not cheap at all! but very affordable and worth the price!
