I ordered the bed and it arrived damaged. the plates were bend and made quirky sound every time you get up. on contacting they said to return the product since the plates are out of stock. No one want to pick such heavy bed up and down 2 floors. Really frustated with their customer service. Seem like I purchased refurbised bed

This is a really good quality bed. I placed a cup of water and other items on the headboard area to test and after various movements and shaking and bouncing on the bed, nothing fell. Not even a drop of water.
I needed a bed that was compact for shipping, easy to assemble by one person and had some style. And this item met all those needs. The design is clever for assembly and the shipping box was easy to handle. The assembled bed seems to be quite sturdy. I do wish the wood slats were stained dark so that the edges dont show if the mattress is slightly ajar. Overall I am impressed with this brand, and the way they design their items.
