This product is better than I thought it would be. It wobbles but feels very safe. Nice boards to hold up the mattress that are strapped together. My daughter loves the loft and play place. We didnt attach the slide as it seem pretty steep and I didnt want her to play on it at all times of the night haha. Other reviews mention paint but mine is fine.
Purchasing this bed for my 4-year-old was absolutely one of the best things Ive done all year. The pure joy she is having with her big-girl bed and the smiles on her face are priceless.
Im not sure what a few peoples bad experiences are but we did not experience any of them. The bed arrived next day from purchase, easy to assemble (took about 2 hours), no broken, missing, or damaged pieces ( they send extras), our spring-foam combo mattress fits perfectly and the slats are great, no smells, the slide is perfect not to straight or slick, the angled stair ladder is awesome so no bottom of the foot pain, the hardware matches the furniture and give it a clean smooth look, under bed space is good, My only regret is not getting this bed earlier.
Perfect kid bed!! So much fun and perfect space saver... double WIN!! my only minor complaint is the instructions are not too straightforward but definitely easy to put together by looking at the pictures, me and my husband put it together in less than an hour
2yr update: unfortunately the bed loosened up after a year and no matter how much you tighten the screws the bed squeaks and is so wobbly, so definitely not a durable bed, put your money towards a more durable loft bed because this one is not worth it in my opinion.
We had been looking at the pottery barn kids bunkbeds for quite a while and ran across this one on . What a bargain?! It goes together so easily And its the perfect size for my girls who are five and six years old. Are used the linen spa twin mattresses that I also purchase on with all white bedding. This is definitely worth the money! Thinking about buying a second set to go on the opposite wall in our bunk room.
First, definitely wore the the money this product with slides and stairs was extremely heavy packaged.
Second, as a whole very sturdy. However, we got the slide and the stairs so the guard between the two was shaky. We will see how that plays out.
Finally, it literally took my from 9 am to 2 pm to complete. I was going slow to make sure I got it right because the picture instructions were kind of hard to follow even with the numbers on the wood pieces.
Overall we are extremely happy with this purchase and the toddlers love it so much.
Okay honestly I was a little skeptical at how I would like having the mattress so close to the floor in a drafty room.
Im quite impressed by this whole set up. For the most part it was easy to assemble. Once you have it set up and assembled if you ever have to move it again its easy to take a part and put back together. I love the fact that I can put my 5 year old on the top bunk if she falls asleep any where besides her bed. Because it is not high like a regular bunk bed. The bottom is super cozy for my 3 year old and doesnt feel cramped( I sometimes sleep on the bottom)
My kids play rough and the slide had held up extremely we and so has the ladder. I like that the ladder and slide can be screwed in or if you dont feel like having the slide you can just take it off.
Honestly the only cons I can think of although the initial assembly was easy, it is time consuming. Both the top and bottom would fit a extra long twin mattress better than a regular size. And i wish there were more boards on the top bunk to hold the mattress. (Can be easily fixed by adding your own).

So I originally had scheduled to return this item. Due to the smell. I ordered the white. I called the manufacturer and explained the smell. She advised me theyve had calls like this and to use windex with vinegar NO ammonia. That would ruin the paint. I decided to mix my Meyers Lemon scent with vinegar and water instead. It has subsided. My advice because this bunk is perfect height. Very sturdy. And very affordable. When you open box leave the pieces out in garage or outdoors if you can to air out before putting together. I put together the day it arrived. So I have wiped all of it down with my mixed solution and also have a fan in the bedroom with windows open to help it air out as quickly as possible. I would definitely recommend. Just air it out first. Assembly took two of us at certain points but not the whole time. And I would say around 2 hours to put together. We had no issues putting together.
This bunk I would buy again. Its the best Ive found for the price and quality. All the big names are more than half of this price.

Very happy with the product. The kids love it! Just be careful on the bottom bunk that the kids dont try and stand up. Overall, great product!
