I really like this chair its beautiful and sits well. I used a different cushion to match my other patio cushions. I took away a star because it comes with one of those stupid hex keys the screws fit tight which means the chair will be sturdy but it also means you have to use a lot of strength on the hex key.
After figuring out the left and right pieces were labeled with the wrong corresponding letter and unscrewing and screwing them back in with that stupid hex key when I got to the last screw it slipped so much because it had been eroded down.
Thankfully I had a drill bit that actually sort of fit it and I was able to get the last screw in but I would HIGHLY recommend having a drill and Allen wrench bit on hand to get this chair together.
The chair is only 4 total pieces and if it wasnt for that stupid hex key the chair would have been together in less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately it took me over a hour.
I have been wanting a rocking chair for years. I bought this one and it is OK. I love the fact that its high back and a deep seat. I am 56 and my feet touch the floor at my toes. The arms are lower than what I had expected. I had wanted a chair that I could sit in and read a book with my arms being supported better by the arms. The seating and the back of the chair are not as soft as what I had expected. I do have carpet in my apartment and its not as easy to rock in this chair as what I had hoped. I like to really rock and I cant get the desired rock I was looking for in this chair. I wish I had my great grandmothers rocking chair. The bottom of the chair has strips on it to keep from messing up your flooring and from sliding around. I believe its a well-made chair, it is a beautiful chair. I just wish I could put some WD-40 on it to make it rock a little bit better for me. I also sit Indian style and its kind of hard to do in this chair because the arms are so low. I will be keeping the chair.
When I first saw it unassembled, I must admit I was worried. It looked stiff and unforgiving. I was very wrong. We have to take turns sitting in it as its became the best seat in the house!

Angle of back incline is slightly lower than expected.
Reading, rocking, and very comfortable. Easy getting in and out of rocker is pleasantly surprising.

Such a great chair!
Doesnt squeak at all if you assemble it right, although it does rest far back. No problems with it though. I love it!
