This is an OK cat tree, but the size of it makes it for kittens, or a very small adult cat. Like maybe 5-6 lbs. small. The upper level measures 17 x 13.5, the scoop platform measures 8.5 x 12, and the scratching posts themselves measure only 17 high. That's not high enough for an adult cat to fully stretch out to scratch. I love the sisal rope posts; IMHO these are better than carpeting, but sisal fabric is even better and safer. My adult Maine Coon girl recently ate some carpet fiber which had to be removed surgically at the ER vet at a very costly $6,000.00 so I'm steering clear of carpeted scratching posts from now on. I chose this to review as there were no measurements given. If I'd known this cat tree was so small, I wouldn't have chosen it. Still, I rate this 4 stars; I like it, but not for MY cats.
my kittens are only 3 months old so for now this is really holding up. i do worry, as they get bigger, that it might not stay upright. i'll have to wait and see. but for the foreseeable future...it's working out.
We weren't even able to finish assembling it before the kittens attacked! They both climbed and jumped all over this thing and it held their weight and shenanigans very well!
Kittens only! The centerpiece is sturdy cardboard which adult cats will break. It is perfect for my needs as a foster kittens. The height is perfect for a portable pet playpen 22 inches or taller
I have two kittens Im trying to teach not to stretch on my couch. I put this at the corner they keep trying to stretch on. Initially I sprayed it with catnip now they use it, instead of the couch!

Super easy set up. Love the small size. Kitten took a little time to figure it out. But now loves to lounge and scratch.
Kitten sized, not for adult cats
