This chair arrived today with no remotes, no power supply, and no parts. It also has a tear in the arm. I am so disappointed! Tonight I should be sitting in my new, comfy recliner. Instead I am not able to sit in it cause I may be sending it back! I have contacted customer care. I will update if and when I hear from them. The chair is a pretty red color but of no use to me the way it is at this moment.
UPDATE! UPDATE!
Customer Service responded by sending a new armrest and accessories box (remotes). Chair is fully functioning now and I love it! Customer Service is the best.
Update: The Customer Care Department gets an A+!!!!
I brought this chair for my mother who would always sit to the dining room table and fall asleep with her head in a bad position. Her legs would swell as well. Now she can enjoy the Miami Heat games in comfort!
Well for one thing I was really proud when I gave this as a Christmas gift to my mother, only to be embarrassed in front of my mom and envious siblings that when it was all put together the heat part doesnt work or come on and the one side of the arm rest is loose and wont stay attached securely. The rest is fine but am very disappointed because it doesnt fully work. Hopefully I can get this resolved and shell be happy. I was thinking seriously about getting one for my dad and my aunt as well, but not after what I experienced with this one. My brother taunted me by saying, thats what you get for buying things online instead of just going to Ashley furniture. Im sad to say he may be right.
My mother, who has lost the activities of her limbs, loves the comfort of the chair. In addition, the chair is invaluable with transferring her from the chair to the wheel chair.
Very heavy. Needed help to get it upstairs. Heat is useless. Weak massages. Cup holders very convenient. Very satisfied. I didnt expect the heat or massager to work very well for a chair costing so little.
