The material is fabulous, pretty sturdy and color is just right. This is light gray. I let my dog sit on my little loveseat in my office he watches me work. LOL I wouldnt hesitate to buy this its very nice. But remember the back is open so you cant flip the cushions however from the back we cannot see any openings on the top cushion

I finally found seams about the right size for the ends and I got it the way you see in the first picture. The cushion covers were ambiguous but I think I did them right. The second picture is after I sat on it for a few minutes.

Absolutely love this futon! It arrived pretty quickly and only took about 10min to assemble. It is on the small end but thats exactly what I was looking for. I would NOT purchase this if youre expecting multiple guests to sleep on this for multiple days. Its not super comfortable to sleep on and Im 52 and barely fit. It would work in a pinch if you had an unexpected guest staying the night and look amazing the rest of the time to sit, read a book, work on the computer, etc. Its also cat approved.
No instructions and no good videos on installing.save yourself time and look at enlarged picture of a lighter color on how front arm seams are lined up to figure out which direction to put it on.
