Even though there is particle board in this product, most of the bonded wood feels very strong and not cheap. This would have gotten a 5, except there was an entire set of screws missing; I just used my own screws that fit the description. And there were no predrilled holes for the center of the backboard, and without securing it to the middle section, the section would move, so I had to guesstimate the thickness of the section from the back so I could fasten it to the backboard without missing the section all together.
Easy enough for one person to assemble, probably would be smoother and quicker with two. Very sturdy and holds a decent amount for the price. If youre expecting it to be as sturdy as a real wood $500+ cabinet, you will be disappointed, but it more than handles the things I need to store using it as a pantry cabinet. Looks nicer than the plain door version. The doors are adjustable once hung so I assume the reviews stating they didnt hang right didnt take the time to adjust them (instructions are included on how to adjust the doors). Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend 100% as a budget storage option.

When we reached out to the seller they responded quickly and sent what we needed. They work perfect for what we needed and look nice. We ended up buying another once we had the first one put together. 6 months later they still look great.
I have put together many units over the years and I have to say, although it is not the sturdiest storage cabinets I have ever owned, it was by far the most well packed and easiest instructions I have ever had. First, the packaging of this cabinet was the best I have seen. Every piece was separated by paper and styrofoam on all the edges and sturdy thick cardboard on every outside edge. Second, all the hardware was pre separated into sealed bags and labeled by part number. Ive always been OCD when it comes to counting out EVERY piece of hardware, including the tiny pins that hold the backing, and the ease at which it was to find each one kept a smile on my face throughout the entire assembly. Third, ALL of the wood pieces were clearly labeled and not damaged from delivery. Fourth, the instructions were clear and concise and had little snippets of humor throughout that had me chuckling. Someone has a great sense of humor at . Fifth, the door hinges were of a bit higher quality than I had expected, so that was a welcome surprise. Sixth, EVERYTHING lined up an fit together perfect. And finally, It is not the most robust unit and wont hold canned goods on the adjustable shelves, but it fit perfectly behind the door in my small bathroom, so it will work for what I need it for. I purchased 2 of these at only $120 in Dec 2021, but would not pay the $167 they are listed for today. Im pleased it comes with a 5 yr warranty and hopefully wont have to use it. It took me 3-4 hrs to put together but I was taking my time. A quick tip for putting the back board on when the unit is laying face down, measure from the side to the center board and write that down, then measure from the top to the center of the top shelf and write that down. Then when you place the back board on, line it up to the edges, tack one of the corners down, then mark those measurements from side to center and top to the top shelf and snap a chalk line so you have your center line to nail the back into. I just used the tape measure every time to nail the back to the center board. Overall Im very pleased.
This unit is Ohio made and it shows. I have assembled numerous pieces of furniture. This was the most peaceful of them all by far! Everything lines up and the directions/pictures are clear and concise. One thing, I opted to attach sides face down, contrary to the directions, since I was doing alone and knew it would be difficult to turn over to attach the back. Probably the only thing I would change in the directions. I am a 5 4 125 lb female and had no issues on my own. Wish I would have found products sooner
I like this pantry because its sturdy and has enough storage space. You can store great variety of canned goods, cereal, cake mix and other stuff. I read the negative reviews - its all lies . and I just wanted to say that if your looking for a great pantry - this is the one !
