Ok so Im going to start with it takes time to do it, probably took us (My husband and I) about 6/7 hours straight yes were tired! But my husband used to work for a bed company and he know about beds, and when we were building this one he was complimenting it, Good Wood, the Paint everything, for me its worth the money!! I Love it!! Cant wait for my baby to see it
P.D. Watch every little hole of every piece from the instructions so you dont make a mistake(we had two minor ones) thank God it was not to difficult to fix it.
This bed is perfect! It was easy to ensemble, only took a few hours. It is sturdy and excellent quality. I would recommend this bed to anyone that needs a space saver.
We bought this bed for our 16/year/old daughter so that she could have storage space under her bed. She loves this bed!
It does take a bit to put together but it wasnt difficult, just a lot of screws. The end result was a beautiful, sturdy bed! We didnt put the side rail or ladder on, which makes it easier for her to get in and out. So glad we found this bed.
Being that I spent 400 on this I expected it to be a little more high quality than it was. Its a bunch of cheap wood. If this bed was maybe 200 then Id understand and would rate it higher but it really isnt the most sturdy. It works and was easy enough to assemble. One of the came with a giant hole in it. The wood is so cheap and splits SUPER easily so be careful when assembling.
EDIT: I have had this bed for about 5 months now. 2 adults and 2 small dogs have been sleeping on his bed. Overall its pretty sturdy but does make the occasional squeak and it creaks sometimes. The bed is strong, just cheaply made in my opinion. Its still very much not worth 400.
Bought this bed for my 10 yr. old daughter. She loves her new bed. It is very nice but its not perfect. I dont expect anything to be in tip top shape. There are some cracks in the wood that appeared as her dad was putting it together. It is sturdy for her but my daughter is on the petite side. She is not overweight or anything like that. Im not sure if this bed will hold up if you have a child that is on the heavy side. It took her dad quite sometime to put this bed together but he was taking his time and was watching tv. Putting bed sheets on this bed is not so easy. I have scratched myself on the wood. Also, there was a very strong paint smell coming from this bed because it is painted white. My daughter could not sleep on this bed for 3 or 4 days. It was that strong. I found that lighting a candle and keeping the room well ventilated helped the smell. It completely went away after a couple of days. All in all this bed is very beautiful and has lots of space underneath. She loves it and really thats all that matters.
Brings you back to that college room dorm nostalgia. I assembled it alone but if you have someone there to assist you I highly recommend it. There are a couple areas in particular where its difficult if you do not have assistance
