When I purchased this bed I had not read the reviews. Afterwards I had a look at them, and felt afraid, because many of those reviews were extremely negative.
The top 3 complaints:
1. Low quality material
2. Instructions were not clear
3. Not sturdy construction

Seriously. Its ok. For less than 300 youre getting just the right amount of quality. Its all particle board, so you have to be careful when handling it when assembling.
The instructions were extremely clear. Not heiroglyphic. Not cryptic. Very straight forward. The illustrations were very crisp and concise. Im sorry to say it, but anybody who was confused by this, wasnt paying attention and following the instructions to the letter.
The bed is sturdy enough. Again, you wont be taking this thing down a flight of stairs, as it is particle board. But its isnt deceptive. If you punch a hole in this, its due to abuse, not normal wear and tear. If you assemble it wrong because you didnt follow the instructions, then youre liable to break things on it.
I read a complaint saying that the box was too heavy. It is pretty heavy. I suggest you assemble the bed in pieces. I unpacked it downstairs, and brought the sections up individually, and assembled it in my room. No problem at all.
I doubt the bed will last me 5/10 years. But my expectation from a sub 300 bed isnt more than 5 years in any case

I was nervous buying this because some people said there was a smell and others had problems with parts, but there was no smell and all the pieces were good. My friends put it together in 2? hours. It was pretty heavy, but I was able to move it as a 20 year old with my younger cousin. The bed seems very study except the side rails. Theyre fairly bendy, but one side is against the wall and we left the other side off so I hop onto the bed instead of using the ladder. Overall, would recommend. The space underneath is great and I love that its not too high either.
The bed is awesome! I was worried, first because previous reviewers have said they received it damaged or missing partsthen when the box arrived the ends were dented in. BUT the bed was packaged so well, tightly packed with heavy duty styrofoam and wrapped so that the pieces didnt scratch each other. NO DAMAGE. The bed was fairly simple to install, easy instructions but you will need two people. Took about an hour for two of us. All pieces were there! It looks beautiful! We put it together today so I dont have a long time frame to rate the sturdiness but so far its seems super sturdy! I am 290lbs and I climbed up on the bed and laid down, it didnt even make a sound. I am super impressed with the amount of and the quality of them. As far as the night under it, its perfect for a child to play. I can sit Under it if Im slouching (Im 56 if that gives you an idea)
So far this gets 5 stars. Bought this Wednesday and got it today. Didnt expect it to come in so many boxes o think there are 6. Cant wait to put it together. I know this bed will be great for me and my girls.

I got this bed today, and put it together today with my 6 year old daughter. It was SO simple to assemble, and its very sturdy! Fits her full size perfectly! Definitely a great price for a great bed!
This is absolutely beautiful. Really solid quality /not plasterboard or any cheap material. It came in 6 huge heavy boxes. It took all day to build, and it was just massive. We did the measurements before ordering of course, but the true scale of the it once build is really massive /but we just love it! Its perfect for houseguests and my growing kids. With a 3rd on the way, I have my older 2 sharing and they couldnt be happier! Be prepared for an all day sorting/building/planning session /I do mean all day. But once it is built, it is aming. Ive read the reviews about the stairs, but I dont really find that to be true of ours. Its a separate unit, yes but its very connected and doesnt move. Our kids love this bed!
