The bed appeared to be new in the box but there are scratches and some of the bars were damaged. The support bars should snap in place during the final step but about six broke or did not fit into place. Disappointed but you get what you pay for.
BUYER BEWARE!! This is bed is terrible! Very cheap looking, and very close to the ground. So uneven, not level at all. Can take a wonderful mattress and make it uneven and give you the worst sleep of you life. Do yourself and favor and dont buy this one, trust me!!
The packaging was intact however, the two top pieces for the headboard and footboard were bent just enough so that assembly was impossible. I had to have my husband fix them so it could be assembled. Also parts of the footboard were scratched upon arrival. Once assembled, it looks good and feels sturdy. Luckily the heavy scratching was on the underside. Nevertheless, I was disappointed in the condition upon arrival
Great look to this bed and easy assembly. However the slats are rounded metal and the mattress slides on them like a flipping hot dog roller. Additionally slats snap into frame with a plastic piece that is mighty easy to break.
We are discussing making our own slats to screw in and thereby secure this bed. After all this is only a guest bed.
I LOVE this bed frame! Its an incredible price for such a beautiful frame! Ive been looking for one like this for a long time, but a lot of them are outrageously priced and dont come with the full bed- just the headboard and footboard. So i loved that i didnt have to go find a base! Its perfect.
I did have it come damaged on the footboard and we didnt notice until it was all set up. The hassle of taking it apart and returning it was not worth it. I was a little disappointed in that, but not enough to knock any stars. The seller offered a small compensation for the damage but it really didnt cover anything to repair it. Oh well. Still love it!
Missing several important pieces so I cannot use this bedframe. Offered me $20 if I could find replacement parts elsewhere, or i have to wait 45 days. I will be returning the bedframe. Maybe someone else can use it for parts.
I had trouble finding a twin bed that would support my very plus size self along with a sturdy mattress...but this one said it supported 440 pounds... and since I and the mattress together weigh over 400 pounds, I can tell you that it really IS that sturdy and well made. It doesn't creak or bow even when all my weight is in one place (seated) and it is super supportive and comfortable to lie on. This is a great bed! And it looks really nice, too. I'm very pleased.

Uneven! Back pain! Cheap!

I wish it had side brackets so the mattress wouldn't slide .
