ive had it for a day. so far it is really sturdy, at first the screws for the slats wouldnt go in all the way but we fixed that issue.
it was easy to put together surprisingly since this is my second time building a bed.
i think i got lucky bc there are no bed bugs so far despite what the other reviews are saying.
I got this in 2 different boxes. i have a 12 inch mattress on here and the headboard is still showing a lot.

I was so horrified of the reviews last year of bed bugs I almost went with another bed. However after recent reviews I decided to give it a try and open it outside before bringing it in. I didn't see anything but I still sprayed flea furniture spray on it. During assembly we noticed on of the legs of the headboard was different thickness. It was level so we just continued (not sure if that is going to bite us in the butt in the future but we already waited awhile.) It's really nice and sturdy for the price!
This bed took about two hours to assemble without any power tools, and I am not an experienced person/builder/contractor whatsoever. When I saw the reviews AFTER I bought the bed so I was terrified it would come with bed bugs. I opened the package and quite literally drowned it in clorox fabric disinfecting spray and two different lice/bed bug sprays. I highly recommend doing this, as it literally made me sleep better at night knowing I had taken care of treatment beforehand. Ive had the bed for a couple weeks now and I adore it. Well worth the price, very easy to assemble, looks very expensive, and is incredibly sturdy.
