I have quite a few items ordered from , but this item was higher quality than I expected. Instead of particle board, this is real . Its so good that some of the finishing nails on the back of the drawers bent when I was nailing them in.
The only thing I dont like about this is that the instructions mention piece numbers, but none of the lumber pieces are marked, except the bedposts all have colors. Its easy enough to find out which is which once you lay them all out, but it would have helped to have part number stickers on the items.
This loft bed is just what our Grandson needed. It provides a neat place / desk under the bed for his computer which is used for school work and gaming. We added LED lights to the underside ,over the desk area, to light the study area. He is very happy with this loft bed.
There is headroom for our 13 year old Grandson to sit up in the bed. His room has standard height ceilings.
The bed is sturdier than most loft beds.
Assembly was easy with two people and a handheld electric drill driver. It would be more of a challenge trying to do it yourself because you need to lift, align, and hold parts while screwing them together. Nothing too difficult but it is better to have another set of hands available.

Was a little difficult to assemble. Directions were a bit hard to follow. Some of the screws were very hard to tighten. One screw got stripped and is still not screwed in all the way. Despite that, it looks good and is very sturdy. Came with all pieces and was in good pe.
Lifting the bed frame up was the only difficult part of the assembly. I actually started with assembling the ladder before starting with the right and left frame. I had two problems because of my height (5 ft) and ceiling height was 8 ft. So I had to get creative... replaced the 6 mattress and bedding on top with a two inch high density foam mattress and a 4 x 6 high pile rug which my daughter lovees sleeping on and is easy for me to remove and machine wash. The five stars is for the excellent overall assembly. Practically managed to do all by myself (although I would not recommend it unless you have no choice). This is sturdy enough for upto 70lb but more than I am not comfortable.
Make sure u buy 8 inch mattress if you are planning to buy this bed. I bought 10.5 inch one and its a little bigger. I like this bed and would recommend it. They have great customer service if you have problems or questions.

You will need two people to assemble. Some holes dont line up properly.

Assembly was easy ( for me). It is good for my son, age 7, but I wouldnt trust it with much weight. It requires a thin mattress.

Worth the work!
Its not easy to put together but this is a wonderful product after you put in the 3-6 hours of work. My daughter absolutely lovees this.
