Really enjoying this bed frame. It is high off the floor. I thought that it might be shorter, but was wrong. That great as I do not have a box spring and didnt want it too low. Feels very sturdy and does not squeak.
It is easy to put together, extremely sturdy (we put 600 pounds on it ever night) and you dont need box springs. Plus, there is enough room under the bed for storage. I do have to say when my husband turns over in the night the whole frame moves with him, but other than that, its a great bed.
I just received it on my porch this morning, immediately put it together. Took about 30 minutes by myself. Im a 23 year old female.For funsies I army crawled under it and I was able to so theres plenty of storage!!! Cant wait to get some bins to utilize the space. I put a long bed skirt on it (also purchased from and it hides the legs, but honestly It would look fine if I didnt, just wanted it to look more elegant. It seems to be very sturdy! No squea yet. I wasnt even able to get it to wiggle at all. The boxspring fits INTO the frame, it does not just sit on top which is why it does not slide about. Im contemplating getting rid of my box spring all together because it is SOOOOO high. Im 54 (pretty average) and I have to hoist myself onto my bed. Not sure how comfy it will be without it, but I know its an option so we shall see. Looks easy to take apart with moves (Im a college student). I will update with pictures later.
Update: I have since broken this bad boy in (no pun intended) and immediately after said activity was done I could tell that the frame was starting to squeak. Its not terrible, but Im very disappointed because I researched for WEEEKS before purchasing this frame specifically in hunt for a frame that DOES NOT squeak. I really dont want to have to take my bed off of it and apply oil, but I may have to and possible tighten the screws if I jiggled them loose
We ordered this to take place of our bed frame and love it! You do not have to have box spring with this, however we still use the box springs for a little more support, plus it makes the bed higher off the ground, which is stylish. And our bed feels very solid and comfortable. This frame is very sturdy and does not make noise as you move on it. It is up high enough off of the floor to use as a storage space underneath, which is a plus. It did not come with headboard attachments, however it does have holes to install a headboard. The holes are on the inside of the leg, but trust me, it does work to attach a headboard. My husband purchased brackets and attached the headboard with no problem. We already had a footboard, but there were not any holes in this frame to attach the footboard (as stated in the description and reviews), so my husband drilled holes in the legs at the foot of the bed to directly attach the footboard. The footboard is actually sturdier than the headboard now! The cost of this frame was not absurd either, especially for what you get out of it. Overall, we love this new frame, the sturdy and solid comfortable feel it gives to getting a good nights sleep, and of course, the way it looks in our bedroom. I would highly suggest purchasing this frame for your bed, instead of using the original bed frames that you have to have box springs for.
