I've been looking for a new frame made of solid wood with a simple for sooo long. Wouldn't have thought I'd find what I was looking for on .
Was able to assemble by myself in about 30 minutes; pretty straight forward construction. Took the advice of someone else in the comments and opened the box downstairs and carried it upstairs in pieces to assemble in my room.
The frame looks very nice, feels really sturdy, and there's enough room underneath to fit some shallow plastic containers (and I covered the containers with a floral contact paper for a put-together look). Was a bit worried about the mattress sliding around, but even without using the sticky tape provided on the slats it stays put.
Very happy with the quality and price.
First I have to say who ever engineered this bed is a genius. It was as easy as a 2nd grade puzzle. That gets a 5 star. It's VERY STURDY. That gets a 5 star. The material LOOKS high quality. I give it 4 stars for a slightly damaged dent on one of the side panels due to packaging and for arriving late. Other than that, I think my guests will be comfy with this double bed and my 10 Lucid mattress (5 stars!)
Really decent product. Solid. Looks expensive. Super easy set up. They forgot hardware and instructions in the box. Had to make a pain in butt claim and wait a week for bolts(special machined bolts)and still no instructions. Instructions aren't needed to put it together as the design is basic.
I LOVE THIS BED AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. The packaging is a long, skinny (heavy) box. I live alone and was able to open it up on my porch and bring it upstairs, piece by piece, and assemble it by myself. This is my first time ever assembling anything of this magnitude. I tend to get confused with instructions and parts, so I usually get a friend to do these things for me. I struggled a bit to get it done. Took 2 hours and 15 minutes. But, as I kept messing up (put the legs on backwards, etc.) and backtracking to fix it, I could see the instructions were pretty clear. I just get a little dyslexic over these things. One of the boards was slightly warped and wouldn't line up perfectly as I screwed it in. I decided to take it apart and try that board on the other side, and it fit way better there. I'm a 140 lb. woman and purchased the deluxe model. Super supportive and beautiful. I love the espresso finish! Will be purchasing the Queen for my other bedroom. Can't wait!!
Easy to assemble. My daughter bought one too, so the second time assembling took 15 minutes by myself. Nice bed. Going to get another for the kids room.
We like the bed thus the 5 stars. Its seems very sturdy HOWEVER Im trying to figure out if I can exchange the bed bc I ordered a full and received a queen. We didnt realize it until AFTER we assembled it. We arent thrilled about having to take it apart and repackage it.
Easy peezy set up.No dents/chips,very sturdy.Not sure if the velcro like tape to prevent mattress slide works as my mattress is heavy.Hard to beat this $$$ for a solid wood frame.
