This bed is everything I needed - sturdy, easy to assemble and compact. Would recommend to anyone that does not want to spend too much money but still enjoys things that are well made.
This is a great , great product .I put it together by myself in 1 hour . Good quality and color. Highly recommend to replace those ugly metal frames from mattress stores. You will not need spring box.
We have had this for a month. So far this has been a great purchase. My special-needs daughter uses it as a mat table for physical therapy and quiet time. Three of us can sit/recline on this and watch a movie together. No creaking or groaning. It feels stable and secure. Paired it with full-size Milliard Tri Folding Mattress, which provides a nice firm surface for therapy. The mattress stays put without additional non-skid material. They work well together.
Great solid bed. My only issue was the colour. I ordered expresso and that what the box said but it was actually close to cherry color. I had to sand it and re-stain it as i had no way of returning in my small car.
This bed is very sturdy. It was so easy to assemble. I did it myself in just over 30 minutes. It is solid wood, no shifting or creaking at all. The slats stay where they should be.
If I could change one thing, I would have the legs be a little taller so I could store things under the bed.
As others have mentioned, the espresso colour is dark reddish. Not like a contemporary espresso shade. But its still fine.
The wood sides were not completely smooth. I mean, there was a bit of texture in places that looked like there was rough wood under the finish. Not scratchy, the finish on top is well done. Just a touch of rustic that you have to look hard to see.
