this frame is really nice, easy to assemble and it looks absolutely robust. After a few weeks i'm able to assure that it makes no noises like metal beds would do. but i'm worried about to middle metal strap that separates the bed and should be hold by three additional legs. The Screws are weak and bend. Those three legs seem bend and i'm not able to adjust them in a strait position again. The four main legs are pretty slippery and my bed wanders around the room. i guess i have to find something to pin it down. That would probably help the stabilizing legs too.
The instructions were very clear, and the design made it almost impossible to put together incorrectly. I especially appreciated the inclusion of a small ratchet driver to speed the assembly.
I was surprised at the quality of this bed. It has very short legs, so is close to the floor. But it is very well made. I assembled it by myself.
All holes were drilled and placed perfectly, so every bolt went in straight and smoothly. They even included a nice ratcheting allen wrench, so it was very easy to tighten the bolts.
Instructions were very clear.
The finish has a rustic look to it. It is not glossy.

Within a few months-it broke on one side... we took the mattress off and I re-drilled holes and basically rebuilt the bed frame... that lasted a few months and it broke again... this time its going in the trash. Im so upset because the return window has passed. I shouldve just bought a basic bed frame and saved my money.

It's misleading. It is not solid wood, it is glued strips and that is why it cracked. I do not recommend

Good value
Very sturdy and solid feeling, does not squeak or make any noise. I put a 12 thick foam mattress on it and it suits my purpose.
