For the price it is a reasonable buy It appears off-white in the picture, but is bright white, solid wood, and fairly easy to put together. I did it on my own, but it would be much easier with 2 people. I got an extra-long twin for the top mattress and a regular twin for the trundle; both 8 tall.
Elegant and very comfortable This arrived very quickly, and came well packaged in three boxes. My husband had no trouble with assembly and the next step is to get a mattress for it. We are going to use it primarily as a sitting room sofa, and Ill use the trundle for fabric or yarn storage. While I would have liked the color to be a little lighter, its very attractive and fits the room nicely.
good product!Definitely just as described The bed was damaged in shipping, so I had to return it. The return process was a little frustrating, but worked out in the end. I received the replacement bed without damage. Set up was easy and it looks great.The trundle is designed for a VERY thin mattress (probably a 6 inch), but I had purchased an 8 inch. My husband made some modifications by attaching wood blocks to the bottom. This raised the bed enough to make room for the trundle and thicker mattress. Overall, we are very pleased with the bed!
Great product by all standards I bought this for my granddaughters playroom. They use as a sofa during the day and they love sleeping on it at night. And it perfect when guests pop in. Very sturdy and very pretty. Id buy it again.
Loved the bed! it is exactly how we imagined it to look like. It is white (not antique white) and it fits nicely in the nursery. The trundle is easy to pull in and out and the wood seems pretty sturdy (though I wouldnt stand on the trundle). I stepped on the trundle to get across to the other side briefly and I heard a small crack. (As a point of reference, I am close to 8 mo. pregnant -about 160 lbs now.) The bed was not too difficult to put together (with some help). My husband just leaned up one side against the wall while attaching the pieces on the other side and it worked out just fine. The only thing I want to comment on is to be careful when screwing some of the screws in. My husband screwed one screw through the wood and it pierced right through. This happened in 2 different areas. Luckily, it was for the back panel that faces the wall. But, just be careful about that!
We purchased 2 regular twin beds and that works for us. We expect to be using a thin comforter up top so itll save us the aggrevation in trying the tuck the sides in...
