Arrived nicks and scratches and 4 screws were missing. However, I informed the shipper and they refunded me $54.00. It is for an 8 year old boy so some scratches are ok since he is very active.
This product simply didnt live up to the level of craftsmanship I was expecting. There were boards not fastened properly to the headboard portion of the bed. I would have expected bolt covers to hide the unfinished bolt heads from view when the bed is assembled. However there were no bolt covers. There were other little things like corner posts not being square with the caps and nothing quite lining up like it needed to. When assembled the drawers dont push all the way in at the bed due to the thin front board not having enough structural strength.

took him 3-4 hours to assemble. Had to buy new handles because the screws provided were too short and I couldnt find any at Lowes to fit. The drawers stick and dont close all the way. I want to return but so much work to take apart and get back in two boxes. Yes, came in two boxes. I regret buying a bed online but too late now.
The only part of this bed thats solid wood is the horizontal slat surface your mattress rests on. The entire rest of the bed is cheap layered cardboard or fiberboard with a thin vinyl skin. The drawers extend maybe halfway under the bed and waste the remaining under bed space.

Looks good and is sturdy, but the gap between the drawers and bed is large enough to be very noticeable. On high carpet itll settle in enough to be functional but on low carpet it hard floors it wouldnt be viable.
Long time to assemble. But worth the time. It is a great assembly as far as being easy one of the best until the drawer guides. Drawers are on rollers which are great but it only has has 3 very small blocks to place strategically in certain places to stop the drawers, however they were far too small for the gaps. We ended up having to make our own. The bed is rated for 200lbs however we did reinforce the slats because this was for our teenage son. So by the time you put a good mattress on top and the weight of a teenager you have maxed your weight limit so keep in mind. I was expecting a 300lb weight limit. I didnt double check this myself. So if using in a spare room for guest you will need to reinforce. Its a beautiful setup. It fit perfectly in his room and he loves it. The drawers are much bigger than they look. The sides are short however they are very deep. If they had put any type of guides in for the drawers it probably would have helped with the sturdiness also. But like i said it is an easy quick fix.
If youre thinking about it...Order it! Had ordered this for my grandson out of state. Whole family loves it, easy to put together. So happy I purchased this!
