Bed arrived fast, box is very heavy. Instructions were very clear and parts were well packed. Setup could and should have only taken about 20 minutes from box to fully put together. Problem is the 4 outside legs have painted threads, which is a major problem! Requires plenty of strength to get those screwed in. That being said, this bed is well worth the price.
The biggest problem with this bed is trying to attach the legs. The bolts have been painted making it almost impossible to tighten with out a pipe wrench. Using the wench removes the paint from the legs making it unsightly. I dont really care about the looks of the legs as long as it functions. Now for the bed itself, I love it!! I have never slept better! Its fairly quite during the adjustments but the remote is difficult to use in the dark. Easy to hit the wrong button. All in all, I give it 4 stars for the week that Ive had it. Would recommend it to my friends.
This adjustable bed base is a lifesaver on two types of occasions: (1) those nights I awake and cant get back to sleep I set the bed to zero gravity and watch TV until I go back to sleep, and (2) those nights when my hay fever is causing sneezes and runny noses I again go to zero g and can usually get back to sleep then. Note that the zero gravity setting is adjustable to your liking, a nice touch. Sometimes I have an acid reflux problem, so keep the head slightly inclined at all times and it seems to help. The only problem I had was when the base was delivered to my house. The 54, 130 pound delivery truck driver came knocking on my door looking for help to get the 130 pound package out of her truck. Fortunately I am a retired man at home usually during the day and we were able to get it into my garage without much trouble. After opening the box (about 38 x 54 x 10 for a full size bed) I moved the parts into my bedroom and assembled the base without further problem.
Ive been wanting an adjustable bed for some time as I have difficulty breathing when lying flat. I just couldnt justify spending thousands of dollars on a frame, so when I saw this value frame I was very excited. This is a great bed frame, and the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because (1) the remote does not have a backlight so you cant see the buttons when trying to make adjustments when no other lights in the room are on, and (2) the vibrator is VERY loud (although I have no trouble going to sleep when it is on). It was very easy to put together, although it does require at least two people (if this is a concern, I believe you can arrange through to have it installed for you). For the price this is a quality bed frame and I would buy it again without hesitation.
Well built and sturdy with 6 legs for support. Excellent quality for a very affordable price. The bed works well with our latex mattress. The remote works well and the motor is very quiet except with the massager. The massager is loud but I didnt buy it for that feature so I just dont use it. I doubt spending a lot more money would give you more quality than what this bed has to offer. I am very pleased with this purchase.
We received our adjustable bed the 20th. of February. It seems to be of very high quality, works extremely well, and is very quiet in operation. Well.....except for the massage/vibration mode, which feels great but does have a considerable amount of resonation; especially on a hardwood floor. Only to be expected. The remote control is great. The platform is extremely adjustable, and the bed is very comfortable; especially with a foam/type mattress. It works extremely well with the foam mattress that we already had, but it seems a little more comfy than the really hard base that we had it on before. This platform base has a little bit of give to it, so it makes the mattress feel just a bit softer, and thats a good thing. ****NOTE**** The instructions call for putting the feet on first after cutting the zip ties holding the parts boxes to the bed. First, there are two clips that hold the power supply box the wiring connection box, and these boxes are zip/tied in place. DO NOT REMOVE those two zip ties, because they need to be there to keep the boxes from falling out. ALSO...... my recommendation is to put the feet on LAST. Heres why. Without the feet, you can take a quarter/sheet of plywood (1/2), and lay it across the bed to sit on so that you can reach and secure the two motors/extenders which are positioned in the center of the bed. You really need to use both hands to secure them in place, and trying to sit outside of the bed perimeter do this is extremely difficult. Being able to sit on a sheet of plywood directly above the mounting point for the motors would make life much, much easier. Then once the motors all of the wiring are connected, remove the sheet of plywood THEN attach the feet to the middle then each corner. Trust me! Itll make your life much easier to do it this way.
The bed was delivered on February 7th, 2017 and this past Saturday February 25th 2017 it has stopped working, the problem seems to be with the small black box, the remote lights up when the buttons are pressed but nothing moves on the bed, i dont know who to contact for help, im not very impressed with a bed that has hardly been used and only worked for 3 weeks. I have ordered multiple items from and this is the first time having a problem, i hope you can direct me where to go for help to fix this problem.
I purchased a single twin xl for evaluation and once satisfied I ordered an additional unit to complete a split king set for my wife and I. As others have indicated in great detail the bed goes together quickly, is well/built and performs astonishing well especially for the price. I am currently evaluating a Casper and Bobs Zzzoom mattress both of which work fine with the bed. (for those curious, the Bobs Zzzoom is a much firmer mattress than the Casper) Just a few notes in no particular order:
1) I am not surprised is having trouble keeping up with the demands of this unit. I am sure the expanding bed in a box industry is helping along with the changing feeling folks seem to have toward adjustable beds. Considering the lower price, its not just for the hospital or those in need, but considered by those who like to read, work, watch TV, …etc. in bed without propping pillows.
2) I had the same problem with corner legs being difficult to screw into place with both of my beds. The black coating on the threads (probably used to keep them from rusting during the boat ride) would gum up during insertion. What I did was tighten until it became too hard, backed out and brushed the threads to remove the gummed up coating and filings. I repeated this process until they screwed all the way down easily.
3) It would have been nice to have a backlit remote. Not a big deal but most of the time you are using the remote in the dark. On the positive side the batteries will last longer.
4) You will notice the bed uses 6 legs instead of the usual 4. This creates a nice sturdy platform and also allows the frame to be dived into two pieces. The center legs actually join the head and foot section of the frame together. This makes it much easier to move the bed from room to room if needed or even from your driveway to the bedroom for assembly.
5) The 4 platform of the frame makes a nice sleek base which is also plenty sturdy. I am 6/2 240 and can flip and flop without any frame squeaks.
6) The motors are very quiet and plenty strong at least when used on my twin xl.

Great bed, setup not so easy

Not bad for the money
