    Assembly tips

I just finished putting this together; my kids (8 and 4) are sleeping in it now (or at least lying in it). Overall, I think this is a high quality product and very reasonably priced. But as other reviewers have mentioned, its a bear to put together. A few tips to make it easier: Think (and read) ahead! A lot of the parts are symmetrical, or at least appear that way without very careful inspection. Only after you reach a subsequent step that requires you to attach something else to two subtle holes in the middle of a large piece will you realize you put it together backwards. I did this several times, at different stages, which was really frustrating. It would help if they put some pointers in the instructions (as in, make sure side with holes is facing inward). The small bolts and the medium bolts are very close in size. Be careful not to mix them up or youll end up without enough of one or the other. The washers stick together. Be careful not to use two instead of one or youll run out. Tighten, but not too much! The screws can easily be stripped if you overtighten. Finally, the plastic clips. These can go from infuriating to fairly simple if you know two things. First, the clips are not symmetrical; they only go in one way. The two vertical bars run all the way to what should be the bottom of the clip, but do not run all the way to the top. If you try to put one in the other way, youre in for a long afternoon/evening. Second, pliars. I know the clips are plastic and seem fragile. But your thumbs are fragile too, and there are a LOT of these clips to put in. Some of them snap in without much effort, but most of them were really tough. Only after my thumbs were about to fall off did I decide to risk pliars. Turns out the pliars worked great, as long as youre careful with them. They may scratch the paint a little, but I decided I could live with that. Result: thumbs recovering and no broken clips. In the end, the bed seems very solid. I climbed up on the top bunk to test it before letting my daughter up there. Felt very solid, even for me (Im about 160 pounds). Good luck! It arrived on time

    Great Bed!

I really like this bed. The bed is not real cheap made, but is not high quality either. Works great for a kids room. All parts were included and no problems putting it together. Instructions could have been better, but overall very satisfied with it. It is ok for the use.

    Great bunk beds!

These beds are very sturdy and went together fairly easily except for the clips that hold the support rods for the mattresses. They were a BEAR to snap in place. The directions could be a bit clearer about the direction to face some of the parts. It took 4.5 hours to put 1 bed together, but only 2 hours on the second bed. The beds are very airy looking and complement the space they are in. We like them! Everything is nice!

Impressed with the quality and value

We ordered bunk beds from 2 different companies through . This one we paid a little more for, but it is well worth the price. We were impressed with the quality and the appearance of the materials and parts. Putting the bed together will be much easier if you always take a good look at the part thats being called for and observe which side the drilled holes are on. If you dont pay attention to this detail you may end up installing pieces that will have to be undone later because the holes are on the wrong side. Other reviewers have mentioned that its important not to tighten the bolts too much and thats certainly the case. You need to have some flexibility. It can be helpful to use a powered screw/driver or drill at times, but thats when you need to be careful not to over/tighten until the unit is completed. The spacers used between the bars that will support a mattress can be a bit tricky to push into place. We found that using a rubber mallet with a small piece of wood to tap the spacers into place worked like a charm. A great looking finished product that we believe is a great value. very sturdy and stylish

    Excellent value for the money

We purchased the beds used from Warehouse. They were in perfect condition, with all parts and instruction intact. My husband and I assempled the beds in a matter of 2 hours, with very few errors. They are sturdy (so far) and exactly as represented on/line. I gave them a 4 rating just because I find the ladders to be difficult to negotiate, even for older children. Overall an excellent value! It is sturdy and looks beautiful

    Great for the Price

For 200, you wont find a better bunk bed. The first time I had to put it together, it took me a while, but after I understood the assembly, its not too bad. Went together easily
