    Its okay

I bought this bunk bed for my little sister and she likes it. It is a good product for the price. Like everyone said it is a bit complicated to put together but once its finished it is sturdy. Absolutely awesome product!!

Not user friendly but good product

All about fast shippintg, required assembly time and relatively good quality is true. I had one quality issue when a hole for a bolt was partially welded over but nothing that could not be fixed with the right tool. Be aware that the original ladders are unusable. Your kid will not want to use them because the stick will hurt his/ her feet. It is also very difficult to get from the ladder on the bed and then to get down. I am in the process of adapting an aluminum industrial ladder for easier access. Really Happy!!

    bed

The bed shipped quickly. The hardest part was there was a leg missing and no directions included. Once it was together, my daughter loved it though. Nice sturdy construction. I was actually pretty disappointed.

    Nice product, annoying to assemble

I read the reviews before purchasing this item, and decided to get it anyway. Putting it together was quite annoying, as many others have mentioned. I used an x/acto knife to cut the flanges shorter on the 90/some plastic clips, so they would fit appropriately. It was time consuming but made the installation much more pleasant. The instructions also dont indicate very well which parts are directional when you assemble it. I dont think Ive seen any product to date that does though, so read ahead when putting it together, make sure the holes line up where they should. All of that being said, the bunk bed is great for the price. And putting it together is a one/time ordeal so it was certainly worth it. Great find!!

    Ready for sleeping

I love this bunk bed set. We purchased this style (twin size bed over full size bed) to allow us the most flexibility for one of our guest bedrooms which is on the small side. My grand children can sleep in it when they come to visit, yet a couple could easily sleep in the bottom bunk together if necessary. The bed was a bit labor intensive to put together, however it is well worth your time when you see how sturdy the frame is when fully assembled in the correct manner. This bunk bed set is very sturdy when compared to many of the bunk bed sets we looked at on the market. It took my husband about 2 to 3 hours to have it fully set up. We are both very pleased with the quality of this product. This was definitely a good choice.

    Plenty of head room

This will be the second of these beds that Ive purchased. Its great for kids. No sharp corners, it wasnt too bad to assemble and its very solid. But the best thing about it (to me) is that I can sit on the bottom bunk and not hit my head (Im 63); great for sitting down and reading bed/time stories. The second one is a replacement for a wooden bunk/bed I purchased for 600 at Ashley furniture. Im giving the old bed (which is about a year old) away to a friend of my wife and Im glad to be rid of it. The kids were constantly hitting their heads, arms and legs on the corners (lots of bruises). This is a cute design,

    Great once assembled

A good value. Assembly however is time consuming and the design somewhat complex; definitely not your easy/to/put/together IKEA bed. Those plastic pieces that other reviews complain about are murder to put in and I had to trim about 25 of them to get them to fit. That said, I am very pleased with the finished product. Highly recommended for skilled handypersons that can improvise when the need arises. Four stars for the assembly process. Dont over think it, youll love it!!

Plastic pieces make me angry. You wouldnt like me when Im angry.

My wife would give this a 5. My 9 year old would give it a 5. But they didnt put it together, and Im mad as hell. Maybe its my sore fingers from beating the little plastic pieces in because they just wouldnt fit. More than a couple flew across the room. Some are just smashed in there. I beat the everliving crap out of the support bars trying to get them to fit. They did. eventually. While I was putting the 100 or so plastic pieces in that keep the support bars from jumping out of their holes, I couldnt help but remember the scene from Terminator 2 where they go in to shoot the man that lead the research at Cyberdyne, ultimately responsible for the death of millions. Or was it billions. Anyway, I couldnt help but wonder if whoever made this had any idea for the horrors he has bestowed on his fellow man. I just dont get why more people havent complained about it. It took me about 4 or so hours. Well, maybe more with those plastic pieces. Dont plan to put it up in one evening if you get home at 6PM like me. Looks good. Pretty sturdy. Put a sheet of plywood (48x75.75) on the bottom to help distribute weight with the 6 memory foam mattress we got our 9 yr old. His old twin is going on top. Twin mattress I mean. You didnt think we were putting a twin sibling up there did you. Well you could, but youd have to really play up the benefits of being on top. Me, I like the more spacious bottom bunk. For the value, its really good. You can spend a lot more and get something a lot smaller. But how much time and frustration would you save with another product. If youre looking for things to get so your husband can put them together and you can save money and have a happy kid, this is your product. Dont let the 3 star rating deter you. If youre a man or handy woman and you want to make the others around you happy (perhaps they like seeing you cry.) then this is your ticket. Its a nice design though.

    Great for even more Money!

This bunkbed that I have been researching for a couple of months before purchase had to satisfy Five major requirements (1) Cost, (2) Durability, (3) ease of installation, (4) be light and less bulk and (5) ease of portability (taking it apart and rebuilding). This is for my daughters bedroom and with the small size of the space (approx. 12 x 11) I did not want a monstrosity of a bunkbed unit that appears to occupy the entire room. This product is light in appearance and makes a cramped space look spacious. (1) COST, this product is a great bargain compared with the faux wood composite products trying to imitate solid constructed wood furniture. I paid 248 for this piece and would have paid more since other wood bunkbeds ranged from 450 to over 1,000. (2) DURABILITY, this bed can sustain 250 to 300 pounds and with steel construction I do not have to worry about the screws stripping and warping the wood weakening the strucutral integrity of the bed whenthe kids are playing by climbing, swinging and rocking from it. (3) EASE OF INSTALLATION, the instructions was clear and the only minor hiccup was the 80+ stiles secure attachment clips that was not expressed in the instructions. I put the entire bed together alone in 4 hours and the stile attachment clips were easily attached after the fact. Another installation tip, make sure the holes are line up to receive items correctly or you will be unscrewing items often in your haste to complete the bed. (4) LIGHTNESS/WEIGHTLESSNESS, the bed is ideal for smaller roomS because if allows air, wind and sunlight to infiltrate the room making an compact room spacious. (5) EASE OF PORTABILITY, I am confident due to the steel construction that I can take it apart if I had to move it into another room or another home withOUT compromising the structure of the bunkbed. Final tip is be aware of having ceiling fans in the room with kids on the top bunk, especially with low ceilings (9/10). This is a great product and we will be making another purchase next year for our boys room. This is a cant miss! Hope this helps Better than the picture!

Great Item for Price/ Terrible Instructions!!!

We assembled the bunk bed in about three hours. The instructions are only 8 short pages. Each page includes ONE photo but seven or eight different steps in instructions. We had to find an extra too to install the locking snaps for the bars. After 7 or 8 I lost feeling in my poor thumbs. Over all this is a VERY sturdy bunk bed but with 200 locking clips it should be! OK product, a pain to assemble and TERRIBLE instructions. not happy at all
