This came in a vey heavy box. I had to ask 2 other people to help me carry it to my room on the 2nd floor. But it's very easy to assemble. I assembled it by myself in less than an hour. The instructions were very easy to follow. The bed is made of good quality wood, very sturdy, and is aesthetically pleasing. I love this bed and am very happy with my purchase.

I have to say, this is VERY NICE. I put it together by myself with no problem. Instructions are simple and if someone follows them, they will have no problem either. Very nice REAL WOOD, and everything lined up good when using the screws. Very nice touch on the little ratchet; made things even more simple. Heck, you all even wrapped that padding with plastic, so you don't have near of a mess when cleaning up. The only problem I see, and it really isn't a problem, but it would have been nice to have plugs for the two holes at the side top of the headboard; only because it looks funny seeing a holes at the top of each end of the headboard. But I gave them 5 stars anyway because they have very nice product.
Easy to assemble with two people. Box is quite heavy and bulky, but that speaks to the solid wood construction. Very good hardware to connect the pieces and tools were included. The bedframe looks beautiful when assembled and fit the mattress I purchased for it perfectly. Very sturdy and we'll supported.
