    Good little day bed

This was a nightmare to put together by myself, but the product itself is very sturdy and nice. Also the price was very fair. Glad I got it.

    Nice, solid wooden construction

Lovely daybed. Nice, solid wooden construction. It's perfect for an extra bed in our library.

    Perfect for spare room bed

Turned out fine , though I used my own Allen wrench instead of the cheesy one that came with the bed. We acquired a memory foam mattress for it and it fits our need for a spare bed , though it's permanently put together.

Sturdy bed if you're not jumping around on it

Sturdy bed if you're not jumping around on it. Perfect for someone weighing 200 pounds and if your careful and don't plop down someone weighing 400 pounds can sleep on this bed although i wouldn't recommend it. After some use the screws become loose, so you will have to tighten them up every so often. Easily put together and a very beautiful color. Lots of room underneath frame. Does not come with mattress.

I am very happy with this product and it meets my needs perfectly

This arrived in a timely manner, and contained all necessary pieces. If I could, I would give it a 4.5 stars, but decided to round down for a few reasons. All in all, I am very happy with this product and it meets my needs perfectly. Construction: While the bed itself was not terribly complicated to put together, two people were absolutely necessary in my case. The instructions were a little difficult to follow visually - many tiny lines overlapping, and the cover page that showed the completed bed looked more like an optical illusion than an actual bed. However, putting the bed together was fairly straightforward. We struggled attaching the bottom frame supports together, using a bed bolt that looked similar to this: http://www.andrewpittsfurnituremaker.com/Works_in_Progress/Dolphin_Bed/Bed_bolt_and_cover_full.JPG , otherwise, everything else was pretty easy. The screws and pieces came separated by type, size, etc, and not jumbled all together in a bag like some other products I've seen. It was easy to find what I needed and know what it was. Quality: Solid wood. Lovely Dark stain. We did discover that the wood had a lot of knots, however. This caused a minor break when the upper back rung dropped from my companion's hand. The wooden peg used to hold the pieces together initially didn't break, but the corner of the long horizontal back piece snapped off partway. It was not a major weight-bearing part, so we opted to fix with wood glue and honestly cannot tell now. I considered sending the bed back, but am glad I didn't. However, while this is solid wood, the wood itself seems a bit soft in places, or perhaps weak due to knots in the wood. I accidentally made a few nicks in the stain and wood just pulling it out of the box. I wasn't banging things around roughly, either. Once assembled, the item is very solid, but during assembly perhaps take a little extra care. Usage: Once built, I purchased a plywood slab to lay over the slats so I could put my standard 8 in twin memory foam mattress on it. Works perfectly. I've slept on it two nights now, and it is solid. No creaking, no squeaks, and feels perfectly stable. The base is high enough that I am able to store items beneath it. Final comments: If you want the bed to continue to look nice, I would recommend this for an adult's use or in an area where it wouldn't see much rough-housing, due to the dingability of the wood. That said, it fits my space perfectly, has clean lines, and I really do like it a lot.

Very elegant and somewhat easy to assemble.

Love the bed! I'm start grad school and wanted something that will fit nicely in my room. This bed looks beautiful and fits well in my compact room. It took about 2 hours to assemble. At first, we couldn't find the instructions but later noticed them inside.

Quality and sturdy furniture at a great price. Looks really nice with lots of storage underneath.

Rec'd and assembled by the hubby. He did say that there was one spot that he had to "fixwith the drill because it didn't seem to line up quite right when assembling, hence only 4/5 stars. Otherwise, seems solid and a quality piece. The bed it higher (even w/o boxspring) than standard bed, leaving LOTS of room underneath for storage which is fantastic. Packaged nicely for shipping as well. Would definitely recommend for the price ($199). I had been looking through all of the options out there for a daybed that our daughter was wanting to have. Can't beat this price for the quality. Very sturdy and should last very well.

    Love this thing

Love this thing. GREAT price for a really nice daybed. Unlike some reviewers I don't think it was too hard to put together. Everything is super labeled (which is one of the few things that is annoying since you will need to clean off the sticker goop that gets left behind). This is sturdy, shockingly good looking and totally does the trick. If I was going to be super critical I'd say that they should provide some little screw covers so you can't see those in front, but overall I think it is a non-issue given the price point.

The daybed arrived in excellent shape, easy to follow directions

The daybed arrived in excellent shape, easy to follow directions. Assembly required 2 people. Not all holes lined up correctly without another person to hold the two pieces in place. Once assembled, it is a nice looking piece of furniture. I would recommend it as an excellent solution for a small bedroom.

    Great guest room addition

Looks great, just wish the stickers weren't placed on each piece, they are hard to remove
