This daybed is pretty. It is solid and sturdy. It is hard to put together. Every piece and slat has to be constructed. It took me 2 and a half hours (alone). Some pieces, like the back kept falling apart every time I tried to attach it to the side rails. Finally I had to use glue to keep it in tack so that it could be attached. When you get to the end you need a screwdriver, which is not included. So while frustrated by having to put together every single piece of the bed (it arrive in a slime tall box) and frustrated that the pieces did not fit together and stay together while being constructed, it is a pretty and sturdy bed. I will spend time in my guest room using it for reading and looking at the mountains and beach.
Really like the quality of the product. Wood framework and aesthetically pleasing.
No sharp edges or splinters and is not wobbly. Also no creeking or settling like you would see from a metal frame. My child can grow well into her teen years with this frame. Allows a trundle underneath for a later purchase if desired.
I ordered this bed a year and a half ago. The other day I went to go step on it to put up the shades and it collapsed. It lasted pretty long for the price and I'll be ordering a new one because I love the look of it.
Fast delivery. Well packaged. It took me over an hour to assemble but that was because I did it alone which I would not recommend but it can be done. Loved the end result. The bed is sturdy and looks sophisticated in my Manhattan apartment. Would definitely recommend.
it came exactly when the shipper said it would. it must be assembled, every piece in the picture comes neatly stacked in the box. it all fit together perfectly, except the very last bolt. it looks great and is well worth the price.
I am so happy I purchased this Daybed! The wood is much sturdier than metal daybeds I have seen, and it looks like
such a great piece of furniture when assembled. I am 79 and had no trouble putting it together! Just had to sit and think
awhile before starting. I solved the problem of putting the back pieces together, and then attaching side pieces. It needed
solving, as the back pieces would fall out without a helper to hold them together while sides were attached. What to do?
With no helpers in sight, I used my trusty duct tape to hold the back pieces in the back rails, then inserted the back into the
sides. Only took a few extra minutes to do the taping, which came off easily when bed was completed. I would recommend
it wholeheartedly to anyone needing a daybed.
Seems pretty sturdy, looks nice too, matches the other wood in the room. Regular twin mattress fits it fine, as do the linens.
A little trouble getting it set up as the stickers on the parts are old and faded, difficult to make out what the letter was on some of them. And the "wooddings/nicks easily so be careful. Light weight and easy to move for cleaning underneath.
Just been up for a couple days but so far so good.
