While I did find the instructions hard to read at first, once i got the hang of them it was easy to follow. Definitely have a friend to help if you can, because those little slats can be a pain to get lined up and put together without an extra set of hands.
The bed itself is beautiful and seems to be made of sturdy materials. It will do really nicely in my guest room for years to come, I think
Packaged very well. Instructions were very easy to follow and all hardware was packaged together and was clearly identifiable. Each piece was identified with a removable stick-on label that came off easily. Material is solid pine (no pressboard here) with no imperfections with the stain and clear coat. The only tool, I needed to provide, was a Philips screwdriver, everything else was included in the box. It took me approximately 45 minutes to put this together. On a scale of "Easy", "Medium", or "Hardfor assembly, this project falls in the "Easyrange.
Just what I was looking for. It was 'fun' to put together....and looks good. Topped it with a 10foam mattress and it is great. A 6or 8mattress might be better if one wants the bed lower. I wanted it to be able to be used as a couch, too, so like it higher.
This was a gift for the grand daughter.. feeling that she was ready for a big girl bed and no longer needing the crib... She loves it and now looks forward to spending time in her room watching TV and playing and of course sleeping
Perfect for college dorm like apartment. Sturdy and perfect for teens/young adults. Great looking when decorated with lots of pillows!! Took about 2 hours to put together with one other person and a drill was helpful!
