Nice looking bed..once you get it put together! Had to carve out debris and paint in slats with utility knife in order to make the backing fit into the slots. I should never have to do this! Also multiple chips in paint and scratches and marks on bookcase surface. Well see how well the bed holds up over time with my 100 lb son.
My 15 yr old daughter put this together almost all by herself in a couple hours with minimal lifting assistance from me. It had a couple small scratches on the inside of drawers, but it doesnt show from outside so we werent too worried. The only issue we had was putting the drawers together, they had some bolts that some would catch and some would not. We went to the local hardware store and got longer bolts, and they worked just fine - that is why 4 not 5 stars. It is a really nice - solid bed that she will be able to have for years to come. Storage drawers were great size.
Didnt say what size the trundle was or what size the mattress should be so I bought the wrong size mattress took it back got a twin and it now wont slide under the bed put the bed in blocks not the best idea so now I have an extra expense of buying another mattress when I find one other then that a good bed

My Daughter absolutely loves her bed! Wasnt hard to put together about 2-3 hours. Just follow the instructions! Highly recommend!
