We live in a small house so anything that adds more storage is welcome. I got this bed for my 16 year old sons bedroom. He seems to accumulate more and more stuff every day.
My husband wanted no part in putting this thing together, so I was on my own. I was a little intimidated when I unboxed everything, but the instructions were awesome. I found them very straightforward and easy to follow. I probably put the bed together in less than an hour. I was working on it in between doing other things around the house.
None of the pieces were too heavy or hard to handle. I am a bit of a wimp so I was relieved that I was able to haul and assemble this on my own.
The end result was a fashionable bed with a ton of storage and a very happy and satisfied 26 year old boy. I love it, he loves it. His hoarding neatly stocked away in easy to roll drawers.
I dont feel like the quality or the look is at all cheap, but I do think the price is cheap. Its a nice bed for a reasonable price.

The bed is really ok! Sturdy when well assembled but you definitely need experience in assembling furniture to do it.
I am a woman and did it on my own. took me some time but I did it. So it's doable. All pieces were contained in the package, the fabric of the bed is nice and has good quality.
I only thing I am not too happy about are the drawers. There are no rails to pull and push them in and out. They just have wheels. They are big and offer enough space to store bedding.
All in all a good bed for a moderate price. I like it.
The bed was simple to put together following the included instructions. I would suggest reading them over first just to make sure youre putting it together in the correct order. The bed looks nice once its together. Its nothing fancy but its functional and the style will fit into most decor.
The drawers are nice and roomy. They arent top quality. They are made of a thin plastic. I suggest only placing light items in the drawers such as socks or t-shirts. You should also be aware that you will not want anything sitting up near the headboard if you want to pull the drawers out all the way.
I love the concept of this bed frame with it's large storage drawers and gray linen upholstery. It has clean lines and fits in perfectly in a modern bedroom. Sadly, there are some problems that prevent it from being the frame I was expecting. First, it was partially damaged in shipping. Some of the upholstery was ripped and the wood pieces were chipped up a bit. I was still able to get it all assembled, but this thing is heavy, and you can't just send it back if it's broken. You could reject the shipment though, something I didn't have a chance to do since I wasn't home when it was delivered.
Shipping damage aside, the frame was easy to assemble and actually looks pretty nice. The linen fabric gives it a nice clean look, and the drawers, while not as sturdy or high quality as I had hoped, can hold a comforter and extra pillows,or blankets. I personally wouldn't use them to hold all my clothes, although if you are limited on space and have no other option, it will work. But heavier items like jeans may wear out the drawers over time, and the bottom part doesn't seem like it will last.
This is one of those pieces of furniture that you don't want to move around too much once you assemble it. There is a metal center piece and it's fairly solid once you put it together, but unless carefully disassemble it, it will likely fall apart if you transport it somewhere. I've had frames like this before, and it never goes well when you move.
Overall, this frame is decent quality. You aren't going to get the same level of quality in this as you do with a 1500 dollar frame. This is a clean design and the storage drawers are unique and prevent things from accumulating under your bed where you can't reach them. If you are worried about the quality of this, I'd consider an all metal frame that has folding legs and will not fall apart no matter how many times you move. But it's boring looking and this has a nice modern look and I'd recommend it if you are looking for a nice bed frame with a clean upholstered headboard. I would be careful to check the box when receiving the package. If it's torn open or dented badly, you can refuse it and will send a different one.
Got this bed in december for my son so we could get rid of his dresser to give him more room and couldn't be more pleased..it did take me a long time to put it together for the simple fact that i have arthritis and its so hard to get down and up again from the floor..but all the pieces were there and directions were super simple..the drawers are really big which is a big plus and it looks very sharp..have and will continue to recommend this bed..thank you
A bed often becomes the center axis around which the rest of a bedroom revolves. So having one with style and functionality is key. This Kelly Bed frame has a modern-style upholstered frame which says dark gray linen and looks like a dark denim. It comes with convenient large, bottom compartments for storage. The frame is wooden and heavy, so its certainly sturdy. It requires a good amount of assembly (lots of bolts), but it would seem the average (non-engineer as the one writing this review) can do it within an hour or two approximately. This one was a full-sized frame, so a full-sized foam mattress would work perfectly. It can really dress up a room with its modern, and minimalist style, and keep it looking clean with the storage drawers.
I was skeptical because some of the bad reviews. Im honestly pretty surprised how it actually has some quality. Have had it for 5 months now, no issues. Drawers work great, and lock in place seamlessly so you cant even tell the bed has drawers. Will purchase again forsure!!

One person put it together in about 2 hours. The drawers took the longest (and were the most difficult), frame itself was together in just under an hour.
Honestly, this whole frame seems like it would easily disassemble/reassemble and still be just as sturdy. The only pieces I'd be unsure of are the plastic connectors for the wooden support slats, but I'm sure they're easily reordered.
Truly had a great time putting this together and it's absolutely beautiful. I'd buy another just to put it together!
This bed is gorgeous and the extra storage is always a plus. My son and I put together in about 2 hours. Husband loves, I love, easy to put together, what else do you need?

Good Price, good bed
