a fair value but drawers not durable

ok this was really easy to put together. There are probably 100 screws to get the whole thing going, but, most of them are for assembling the drawers. The drawers of this unit are probably the most important consideration. They are extremely light duty. They seem to be made from similar material as a plastic milk jug. If you are familiar with elfa products, they are like a drawer made from the material they use for shelf liners. I've uploaded a picture where you can see my hand on the other side. The drawers say they are rated for 40 lbs. The only thing they are really good for in my opinion is clothes storage, which is very useful. I wouldn't recommend shoes unless you put in a liner of some sort. The drawers attach by slotting a screw head into a hole in the frame. Not a very savvy design, but, its functional. The bed itself is nicely made. It looks a bit more like a piece of office furniture than a bed, the fabric being reminiscent of a cubicle wall. Maybe you're into that kind of thing. It was fast to put together with two people, maybe 45 minutes. Nicely, the manufacturer includes a bag full of extra screws marked extra. The instructions were easy to read. One detail, when putting the drawers together, make sure all the screw holes on the frame are pointing in the same direction so you can install the bottom. It didn't stink too much when we took it out of the box, but we aired it out overnight anyway. You have to sleep on it, but you shouldn't have to breathe it in too. The main issue with the design is that to open all the drawers you MUST have the bed in the center of the room, or at least, not along a wall. It would be nice if you could make the drawers longer using the already included parts. My daughter left the bed 8 inches from the wall and will put winter clothes in the drawers that are partially blocked. The bed is light enough that its easy to move to access the drawers at the beginning of the season (we live in a warm climate). Overall I think its a fair bed.

    Easy to assemble, built solid.

Good bed for the $. Don't expect to put heavy items in the drawers or something you'll want to access daily, these pull outs are just on casters and not drawer glides. Good for storing extra blankets, pillow cases or extra bed sheets though.

Looks good and easy to assemble

When I say easy to assemble, I mean that we were able to do it in about three hours total, plus breaks. If you follow the instructions closely, you shouldn't have any trouble. One thing we like about this storage bed is that the drawers actually roll on the floor into precise holders on the frame -- the point is that you don't have to install drawer tracks and try to line everything up just right. That's always a crapshoot with prefab cabinets and drawers, but this design takes it right out of the process. The storage drawers are not heavy-duty (lightweight plastic sides and bottom, but this is best as the kind of storage that you don't need to go into every day ... for example, we live in the tropics, so the drawers are for heavy coats and blankets that we rarely need. I can recommend this bed more than I expected -- if you want storage and simple good looks, give it a tumble.

    Good Bed for the Price

My fiance and I needed a new bed and we bought our daughters bed on back in November 2018. The directions were very easy to follow and everything was properly labled. It was pretty time consuming to put the entire queen size bed together, it took my fiance and I about 4 hours. The most difficult part were the slats. I believe there are 12 per side amd you have a wooden slat that you place a plastic holder on and have to get the plastic part of the holder into the metal part of the bedframe. Seems easy enough, not so much, we tried with all of our strength to push these plastic pieces into the metal frame and did not have any look. The directions did not say to do this or that you needed this but we ended up getting a towel and a hammer to set the plastic pieces in place. Other than that the bed was very easy to put together and looks very nice once finished. A lot of people didn't like the drawers and the fact that the bottom and sides are made out of plastic but no one really can see that part in less you leave your drawers open 24/7.

Nice for the price, and easy to assemble!

My hubby and I put this bed frame together in approximately 2 hours using 2 allan wrenches (only one is included), but having put a lot of furniture together in my days, I have to say they really took the guess work out of this assembly. Super simple to follow and put together, just a little time consuming. Other than that, the height of the bed is great, it feels very sturdy, and I love the big drawers on each side (just don't expect to use a night stand if you want to use the drawer closest to the headboard). Overall, very happy. Thank you.

    Loving it!

Exactly the color in the photo. Very easy to put together. The drawers are more lightweight than I anticipated, but are working out. Lots of storage. The box is EXTREMELY heavy. Definitely needs a two person carry.

    great style and quality

I was worried with the other reviews I had read. This bed was not hard to put together with two people it took maybe an hour. It is in fact very sturdy. I am not sure why so many people said they had to reinforce it. Its already well enforced in several places. The metal is strong not cheap. I really wanted a bang for my buck bed that would last. I had to make sure I read all the reviews and ratings not just here but other sites as well. Well I am glad I went with my gut on this one, because we have had it for several month and not a single issue. The only thing I did was add non slip to the bottom legs so that my floors weren't scratched. Works like a charm. The drawers are not in place, but they work just fine. Its not a hassle to have them this way. they font just slide around, there is a bar that keeps them from going too far astray. The drawers are actually really big. I wanted to do away with a 4 drawer dresser I had, and I did. with only two of the drawers I fit most of the items. This IS the bed to beat all other beds. Dont let the bad reviews scare you away.

    Beautiful and Functional

We like this Kelly bed with storage very much. The fabric is really nice to the touch and feels like linen with no chemical junk on it. There is no odor. The drawers are on five coasters each and roll around on the floor under the bed. All the drawer panels except the front fabric cover are plastic on a metal frame and they hold 40 pounds each. There is a knob on the drawer to raise and put through a slot on the frame. The drawer fronts are higher than the frame, This arrives in one large heavy box and the instructions are super easy to follow with no other tools needed. There are so many bolts to use an alan wrench on that my thumb got very sore. I ended up assembling the bed on one morning, wait a couple of days and then assemble the drawers. It is easy enough to do with just one person.
