It was rather easy to assemble but after 3 months of using it, it was creaking so loud that when my husband turns every night i can hear it all. We have a purple mattress that is amazing for us but definitely works better on wood bent planks and not metal since it made our amazing mattress feel like a slab of stone after 3 months of it being placed on the bed frame.
I loved the bed at first, but literally every time I get onto the bed, it creaks like CRAZY! My dad and boyfriend have both tried to fix it, but everything is loose all the time. They will tighten everything and then a week later its loose and squeaky. Its a nice bed frame to look at, but get a higher quality one. If I could still return it, I would.
I purchased two of these beds for my children who we had just transitioned to having their own big boy rooms. They love them! Both beds arrived at the time expected in perfect condition. They were very easy to put together. My sister and I were able to assemble both in one afternoon. They feel quite sturdy and dont squeak so far. Kids are still small (almost 3 and 6 year olds) so well see how well they hold up. Really cant beat this quality for the price!
The bed was super easy to assemble by myself. Over the past 2 years we have put additional screws to hold the bars in place, some have bent. This week the entire middle support twisted and broke off. Looks like its time for a new bed. It was a nice bed while it lasted. I guess we got a good deal for the price

I put this together in an hour. I love the antique look. Sits high with plenty of storage space underneath. Affordable and sturdy.
