Unboxing the 2 boxes, I felt intimidated, and wondered what I got myself into by ordering this.
But for someone who is 50 and weighs 108 pounds, and is not too experienced with putting together large furniture, Id say this project was lengthy, but not at all difficult.
A few pieces of the stairs were missing their part letters/numbers, but it was easy to figure out by the pictured instructions. Aside from that, everything else was just fine.
Of course, I had two 3 year olds barging in while I was putting together and assisting as only they could, by switching all the pieces around and taking them off to another room.
I really enjoy this bed, and so do my daughters.
Im glad I made this purchase.
Not hard to assemble, but the wood is soft and once constructed its not firm. The trundle needed reinforced as after assembly and moving it under the bottom bunk I felt as though I was going to yank the trundle frame apart when pulling it out. Had to buy extra supporting angle pieces and install on trundle frame, yet its still somewhat flimsy. Weve 6 grandchildren who only stay occasionally so well be fine, but if this was an everyday use bunk beds for two or three 80lb+ kids, Id probably recommend something more stout.
Im giving them a 3 because they cancelled my order when asked, unlike the company that I tried to cancel and they refused. Both are basically trash materials screwed together with sketchy hardware
Update:
Almost a year later and its still standing.
The bottom bunk is wider than a full bunkboard and a full mattress. This causes toys, dust, dirt etc. to fall into the drawers below, so we are going to put a peice of wood here to cover that area. Two bolts have stripped one on the bottom of the ladder and one at the bottom of the top bunk center rail. Its still sturdy, used a toothpick to get the bolts to stay in. We love this bed!
We just finished (well almost) putting this together. My husband is on the way to the hardware store to get the missing bolt and screws needed to finish the job. Ive taken pictures of some concerns. First and foremost Im worried about the bottom slats they are not long enought to reach both rails as they top bunk slats do. More to come now that i have to rewrite my review thanks to the first one getting rejected!

Love this bunk bed
Lots of pieces but everything went together easily. Bunk beds are sturdy and the trundle is very handy. Great value
It looks more intimidating than it really is.

Nice material, easy to install. The trundle moves in and out nicely. The wheels are sturdy.
