Solid wood, no press board , nice. Finish is light and simple. Bed is sturdy! Pay attention when you assemble ( dont pour a glass of wine till AFTER its done) we managed to gloss over the details that specifically showed how to distinguish lookalike possibilities in how to place the wood pieces . A standard size twin mattress fits on the trundle piece and it looks great ! Arrived as told, in good shape and had all the correct hardware.
The bed seems to be solid and well built and my toddler loves it. However, I was disappointed to notice that the white paint was chipped from some areas on the bed. Since the bed is already assembled and I paid to have it assembled, Im not going to return it. But given the high price point and the overall bed being well made, the chips are extremely disappointing.
The box to the full size bed came very damaged. It was soaking wet, and the whole top of the box was ripped. The bag with the screw was falling out of the box and was ripped open so it was missing 2 important screws. We had to go out and buy them because the bed was surprise to my daughter and we didnt have time to wait for a replacement. We put the trundle together a few days later and one of the holes to put a large screw in was way too small. We realized that the block of wood was actually glued on sideways and the whole we needed was facing the opposite direction. We ended up having to drill our own hole for that. Thankfully, even though the box arrived damaged, there was no damage to the actual bed besides a few dings on the headboard. My daughter loves it and I know shell have this bed for a long time.
I like the style, easy to assemble and quick shipment so it is 2 stars but definitely I got a bad one.
- One of the holes was not drilled deep enough to attach the foot board to the rail, so I had to get a 9/16 Forstner bit to deepen the hole to attach the bolt. It was a pain as I had to drop everything, go to the home center to buy the specialized drill bit just for one use,
- One side of the trundle finish has roughness and I needed to sand it down with steel wool to reapply the clear finish,
- The slats are just raw cut from 2x4 lumbers; the slats included with the trundle were not even sanded. Rough edges and splinters are still there waiting to get your fingers. I sanded the slats to ensure that they are safer to handle such as making bed.
Unfortunately, once the bed and trundle shipping boxes are opened, it is next to impossible to repack to send it back for replacement. Besides, the replacement can be worse.
Two star rating is a bit generous for what I received.
Works wonderfully. Better quality than expected. The bed is easy to assemble and delivery was smooth and we received all parts in one delivery. The bed is very strong and sturdy. Extremely happy with this purchase.
Arrived in good condition, purchased the white bed with trundle and both beds seems to be made well. No problems putting it together with picture instructions, no missing parts at all, headboard very secure (does not wobble) and bed has good support with a number of screwed in slates on main bed and trundle. Rollers for bottom trundle also.
Great looking bed. East to put together. Trundle was missing for about 3 weeks but was found by UPS and shipped. Then hardware was missing from box. Called the manufacturer and they are sending me the hardware for free so I dont have to send back the entire bed back to . While a headache with this bed, it was worth it. Very satisfied with the bed. Great quality for the price. And my 19 month old loves it. Not too high off the floor!
Very good quality and the bed was easy to assemble. It was a little higher than I thought it would be, so my 2 year old daughter struggles a little to climb in (We have an 8 mattress). She did roll off the bed on the first night, but thankfully, I had the trundle open so she landed on another mattress and didnt even wake up.

Bed is really sturdy and easy to build. I give the bed 5 stars. Great quality for the price. The trundle bed unfortunately gets about 2 stars. The trundle quality is not as good and the support for the mattress is inadequate which is odd considering the mattress support is great for the bed. Not sure why they did not use the same support system on the trundle.
