    Great little loveseat

First I gotta say for the money it is very nice. No issues putting it together everything fit fine. No damage. Do take extra care at putting the backs on the bottoms the correct way. Read the instructions carefully. Took about half an hour to put together

The size of the sofa was fine, but we put a piece of plywood under the cushions to make firmer. The cushions tend to move forward.. The next sofa will be purchased at a store, with the opportunity to try it out. For now, this will do. The dogs love it!

One is soft and one is firm

We ordered two. Packaging was great and all parts were included. Instructions for assembly were clear and concise (according to my husband). Assembly was easy and took about 30 minutes tops. The size is perfect for our small sunroom. The upholstery is soft and the color is a great neutral. 4 stars because one is firm and supportive and the other is soft and squishy. Not sure how you would know which youre getting (if you have a preference. The price is right and they look great in a room that is not frequently used.

Comes in a box, assembly much easier than I was expecting, and looks and feels pretty decent

Sofa in a box. That is clearly the gimmick for this sofa - a sofa that is assembled at your home in one cardboard box. Now... its not a small box - after all it holds a sofa - but it is more rectangular and compact than a full-blown sofa would be. I kind of see it as more of a good deal for the manufacturer and the shipper than for the consumer, although I assume the do it yourself at home aspect of it means some theoretical cost advantage? On to the sofa itself: its a cute, stylish little thing. Were in the midst of doing our theater room in grey, and this particular sofa fits right in with the grey walls and grey velvet curtains. Its a pretty comfortable seat, and you can stretch out on it a little. The Mrs. remarked that for a sofa in this price range the seemed higher quality than youd expect. As to the assembly: I saw a well-written review that said it was almost prohibitively difficult to assemble, even for someone with a lifetime of put-it-together-at-home furniture assembly. I didnt find that at all. The manual wasnt particularly colorful or exciting - standard multi-lingual dull instructions and pretty obtuse stick-figure illustrations of assembly - but it was pretty self-explanatory and there werent a ton of parts. In summary: much easier than I was expecting: I assembled the whole thing alone in less than an hour. The back assembly was the trickiest part: after inserted posts into the seat/frame portion a hand-tightened screw is threaded and tightened through a hole in the side of the back frame into a corresponding threaded hole on the arm piece. I had to lean on the back a little to get the threads just so - but it wasnt that bad, and Ive cross-threaded many a home assembly furniture project. I was given a sample of this product in exchange for this unbiased review, but it is a welcome addition to one of the nicest rooms in our quite nice house.

    Comfy, Nice Look, Shoddy Construction

Im writing this review in the context that this is a very inexpensive couch - so keep that in mind. Like a lot of you are probably doing right now, I spent FOREVER looking for the right loveseat for my small space and finally settled on this one. Im happy with the purchase overall - but here is a breakdown: GOOD: The color is exactly as shown, which was a relief. The packaging is compact and smart - there are even plastic-lined handles on the box to make it easier to move. I needed help to get the box down the stairs, but overall it was pretty easy to handle. This couch is sinky - which is exactly what I was looking for. I imagine its too sinky for many people, but I cant stand that stiff couch feel. I find this to be much more comfortable than other similarly priced couches. BAD: While the assembly is pretty straightforward, the construction of the pieces is extremely shoddy. The holes for the bolts and the tracks for the arms were not carefully measures on mine, which means the couch is slightly off-kilter. Its not super noticeable, but pretty ridiculous. It also made it really hard to get the last couple pieces together. Im not expecting artisan craftsmanship on a cheap couch, but maybe some form of quality control? Also, while I like that its a sinky couch, it sinks A LOT in the middle. You know that feeling when you sit down on the toilet without realizing the seat was left up and you have that moment of panic as you fall ass first into the water bowl? Yeah - that. But why would you sit in the middle when there are two perfectly good cushions indicating where to put your butt? Sit on those, youll be fine. Overall, its a good piece for what it is. A great alternative to . Pro tip - keep all the packaging and pieces as organized and intact as possible until you build the frame - that way it will be easier to repackage and return if your construction is off like mine. Unfortunately, once I got to that part, I was too invested and had already broken down the packaging so I decided to keep it.

The assembly takes a good 30 minutes and its a little tricky but in the end the sofa turned out great. Its on the smaller side but thats expected for a loveseat. Overall a great buy.

    Love my new couch!

Perfect size and seat depth. Good quality and easy assembly. I would wholeheartedly recommend. For the smaller of stature, this style is a back saver. If youre big and tall, go the deep seating route.

Beautiful, solid and worth every penny.

I purchased this loveseat about 18 months ago. I was rather wary at first to buy furniture online. But being disabled and without adequate transportation it was one of few choices I had. But I have to say, it was a great choice! This piece is solid as a rock for one thing. It is more beautiful in real time and has held up wonderfully! I have had more compliments on it than I can easily enumerate and I even have one friend that bought the same exact sofa for her TV room shortly after my purchase. By far the best piece of furniture I have ever purchased. And should I ever have need for any other similar piece I will definitely check out the RTA line first. Youd be hard pressed to find a better deal or a better loveseat in this price range or even higher. Update: March 17, 2019... Still going strong. Cushions have held up beautifully with no sagging or smushing in the years since my purchase. Still get compliments and shes still a comfortable as the day I assembled her! UPDATE 2: May, 9, 2022 Its been six years since I purchased this loveseat and all the above still applies. Its still as comfortable as the day I got it! Worth every last dime!

An Excellent DIY Couch For Two People

This sofa was quite a nice surprise. It was delivered two days before I expected it, and I am glad I was home. The FedEx guy and I carried it into my living room, so it is doable for two people. Once in the house the box looked formidable, but in fact was easy to takedown. I waited until my daughter and granddaughter came for the day. Otherwise I would have had a handyman assist. We took everything out of the package, my granddaughter made sure we had all the pieces. Then we read the directions. With both of us we were able to put the couch together, although it took some ingenuity at times. The legs were the easiest part. Once together all three of us sat down. Hurrah. It held us all and seems sturdy. This is a nice color of grey, not too light or dark, it will go with whatever decor you may have. The couch comes with pillows, I aired them out on my deck while we were putting the couch together. The fabric of both of the couch and pillows are sturdy and soft, not rough as I had feared. As reported elsewhere there are coasters on the legs which roll. We took them off, so I had no fear of rolling around the room. This is an additional couch for me, small enough to fit well, but also large enough for 2-3 people. The pillows are attractive, and I have added another pillow in a burgundy. Two people can put this together with some forethought and insight after reading the directions. It was much easier than , no swearing for this couch. My granddaughter was so pleased she was able to assist. I am very pleased with the couch. Recommended. prisrob 10-03-17

It is easy for two people to assemble

The sofa is a true wonder. It is easy for two people to assemble. There is only about 16 parts, including the cushion expander filling. Two throw pillows are also included and match perfectly. It is sturdy without being heavy, simple but stylish, and very comfortable. It does not look cheap or flimsy. We placed it in our family room facing the open concept kitchen. Now the chef will not be isolated while cooking for guests or family. I rate it a four. Once it is dog tested, I will revisit this rating and hopefully revise it upward. If I did not have dogs, I would rate it a five now. For the moment it has a cover on the seat cushions to protect it from dog nails. The dogs are still cautious and have not used it yet. jodie marino nachioson
