This is a great looking bed with quality construction. Would blend well many decorating styles. I moved to a studio and this worked out perfectly. Delivered in a few days.
Annettes husband, chiming in here: This was not an easy assembly. The pre-drilled holes for the slats were too small and too shallow, making for an extremely difficult time getting the wood screws in. If you have the right power tools you may have an easier time--but then, you really shouldnt need power tools to put something like this together. Side note: the numbered stickers identifying each piece are stuck directly on the surface of the wood, and are not the kind that easily peel off. I had to scrape them off, trying to be careful not to scratch the wood. Ill probably need to attack them with some kind of solvent to get the residue off.
I ordered this bed from a different website. It is a gorgeous bed, perfect for my toddler. Very sturdy but a bit difficult to build. One thing you want to keep in mind is that for the trundle, the maximum height mattress that you can have is 8. I ordered a 10 mattress and it doesnt slide under so I will put that one on the top bunk and order a lower mattress for the bottom bunk.
This was easy to put together and the bottom bed slides out nicely.
It serves 2 purposes. (1) an extra bed and (2) extra storage.
My granddaughter loves it.
