I bought this for a spare bedroom. The boxes were intact and all pieces were there. I am a 61 year old female and had no problem putting it together by myself. It seems very sturdy. From the floor to the top of the mattress it is about 31, which for a shortie like me is high. No problem though I got a white stool. I love it and would buy it again. My only complaint was I paid extra to get it here faster. That did not happen. I got two boxes on Monday, one box on Tuesday and the last box on Wednesday. That is a UPS issue, not Broyhill or
My girls couldnt be happier with this bed. There was a small crack in one of the boards, but this company quickly made things right. Very sturdy frame and the trundle is easy to slide in and out. My 7 year old can push the trundle in without any help.
These beds are fantastic. I bought 3 total, for my house and with their mom. The construction is good, the instructions make them easy to put together (after the first, I built the second and third without referring to the instructions again), and my kids love them. You will need tools to build, and an electric drill is a must, as you drill about 32 screws into the slats for the bed and trundle.
Also, when the trundle is pulled out, underneath the bed makes for a great hidden fort (or so my daughter has found).
Definitely would recommend as a good quality kids bed.

This bed is great for full use of small spaces. Its quite high for the little ones but we get so much use out of the space with both drawers and a trundle.
