    Wonderful for watching TV

This bed is working out wonderfully with my Tuft Needles mattress. We bought the King size, the only issue was we had to remove the black plastic things to mount the motors, other than that no other issues. I know one thing for sure, we will never buy another conventional bed. I will update if anything changes.

This is a great bed. While the box was very heavy

This is a great bed. While the box was very heavy, the bed itself was light. The heaviest part was the box of leg part. If you are planning on carrying this bed upstair, I would recommend taking it out of the box and carry each part separately. The one annoying thing that I hate about this bed is the price on . Ive seen the price fluctuate from as low as $470 to as high as $950.

    GREAT Product, GREAT Value!!

Took a chance on this after checking the reviews (was a bit skeptical since the other brands were double the price and more). The box arrived was extremely heavy (a two person job to move inside). We carried the pieces separately upstairs to assemble in our room. From start to finish, assembly only took 40 minutes and was VERY EASY. We had a hard time screwing in one leg, but with a little WD40, it was perfect. We purchased this after buying a new mattress and absolutely love it. This was by far the best value I found for this type of product. Weve used this for almost 3 weeks highly recommend.

Great value plus a few bells and whistles

Great value plus a few bells and whistles:/) Love having the USB port and the massage feature is a nice touch. (Haha. Get it?) The adjustable base arrived quickly too! Easy to assemble — no problems with missing parts or misfitting parts. Only two issues: 1.) The Zero Gravity button on the remote worked a few times, but now it only lifts the foot section up to a weird angle, and 2.) The adjustable base is exactly the size of (in my case) a full mattress. So, if your bed frame has side rails that have a lip protruding toward the center to hold a mattress, you may have to do some tweaking to make the platform nest inside the bed frame. One way to tweak it would have been to add the leg extensions to lift base above the lip on the rails. But, I wouldnt have been able to use the USB plug (it would be hidden behind my rail) plus the mattress would sit too high for my bed to look right. I ended up switching the bed rails so the lip pointed outward. Not the best look, however, my bedding mostly covers it up. Its still a tight fit inside the bed frame though. I would buy this brand again! Any chance I could get a fully working remote though?

a genuine value in a world full of overpriced foam and adjustable bases

ive had experiences with a leggett and platt (lp) adjustable base (brookwood from costco) that costs literally 3x more than this bed. here are the key features we found in shopping and using adjustable bases: 1. cost: LP is 3 times more expensive than thiss bed 2. elevation of head: works perfectlyequal to lp. i think the bend point for the is about 30 inchesthe lp is about 27 inches. to us, i thought it might make a difference to move the pivot point on my backbut really, it didnt. i would say the motor is slightly quieter and much faster. 3. foot elevation: equal on both beds. both also have the metal bottom supports to hold the mattress in. once again, the motor is quieter and faster than the LP. 4. fit and finishthis is where the lower cost of the really shows up. the more expensive LP is slightly better all aroundeverything fits and assembles easily with the LP. for this , though, it looks fine from the top and exterior (which is what we would see when the bed is assembled). but underneath you can see a few loose threads. also, a lot of the parts fitbut not without some effort. for example, more than a few reviewers mention how the four corner legs may not screw in easilyfor me one of them took some forcing. i think it was due to a little pain being in the threads of one of the legs or the hole. more importantly, two prongs that hold the head motor (that elevates the upper half of the bed) didnt fit easily. i talk about this in more detail at the end, but this was the biggest detraction of the lower priced bed. 5. customer service: havent had to call LP yet, which may be a sign of great customer service. but i have no complaints with the responsiveness of so far. even though there is no number to talk to a human... (ive called their service number, pressed whatever number for tech support, and it just loops you back to the main messageso if you need to talk to someone, this bed is not for you). but for me, all the customer service i get is via emailand their attitude is excellent and responsive. also, i found this video really helpful for installation: https:www.youtube.com/watch?v_5Dc9X98Cjg (or search for Adjustable Comfort Adjustable Bed Assembly Instructions by . franklythe attached instructions for this bed were far more clear and easy to understand than the LP instructions, which is actually just misleading if not plainly wrong. 6. the remote controlit is quite nice. powerful, very rectangular, and clear which way is top (where the illuminated and helpful screen is). here are the things that we wondered about while we were purchasing but turned out to be less important in using the beds 7. this adjustable base does NOT have wall hugger. for us, this really is a trivial thing. wall hugger may be worth $100 more to me. but it does add a complicated motion to the movement of the beds. i tend to prefer simple as that means less service in fixing a mechanism one day. 8. the massage mechanism is quieter than the lpequally effective, but we dont use this feature at all other than to fake annoy each other on quiet sundays. we have neighbors downstairs, and at least the wont be waking any neighbors up. 9. usb plugs, underlights, other little bells and whistlesdoes not matter to us one bit. for usb charging, we use far faster chargers we bought on maybe next time, the bed companies will let us attach our own phone chargers somehow with an outlet plug. 10. also the LP has velcro strips to help hold the bed in place. in effect, they add more crinkly noise as the bed goes up and down. so the is slightly a winner here. for the price, is a great value. totally worth it. the delivery from was greatthe fellows were very nice. if i had to do this all over againeven in both beds were the same price, id have bought the bed. but the fact that LP is 3 times more expensive... it is a no brainer. i can literally buy 2/3 of these beds before hitting the same retail price of most other offerings. id say my one caveat was in putting together the bed. most of it was really easy, except for attaching the head motor to the bed. one of the prongs that holds the head motor (the one closer to the middle of the bed) was a bit too tight. the motor arm could fit halfway into the prongs but no further, making the cotter pin unusable. yes, i did try wd40, prying, and heating the iron and bending it. so to use it, i had to consider removing the plastic covering (which probably has a purpose in protecting the head motor. i will say jim at the email offered to send me a replacement upper half of the bedso the response was instant and generous. (that would have been very heavy for him to ship out to me).

Quality service on such an expensive item is essential to me!

July 2018:. Update/ I still LOVE my adjustable bed. I recommend it to all my lifestyle coaching clients. This bed has been reliable and service from the company is exceptional!! Personally, it has changed my life. Sleeping on an incline has improved my sleep apnea and ended my snoring! (An adjustable bed is fabulous for a senior sex life too!) Jan 2017: I use this bed for back issues. I recommend it to my clients for sleep apnea and snoring reduction, swollen legs and feet, and sinus issues. Sleeping at an angle can help so many conditions. This bed frame functions well and looks nice. I did have a problem with the motor on the foot of my bed. But Jim, from , was SOOOO responsive and helpful. Within days I had a new motor and was sleeping like a baby again. I dont know about you, but quality service on such an expensive item is essential to me! I will continue to recommend this bed to my clients... and my friends and family. Kelly Bliss, Healthy Lifestyle Coach.

Got mine in today and love it!

No idea why people are complaining about the components and such. Setup is easy took me about 30 minutes. Wiring instructions are cake, to whomever decides to buy this just be careful during the setup and dont force the wires into the socket. I put my old mattress onto the frame temporarily until the new one arrives, but regardless I feel the difference in comparison to my old bed. Definitely recommend this to people with back problems or who has to build a pillow wall under their feet and back.
