So, first things first. When this was delivered, the incorrect hardware was included. They sent me hardware for an 8ft one, even though the 10ft umbrella was in the box. Customer service did respond, but it took more than a week to send new hardware.
After the new hardware was sent, there were still pieces missing (second crank handle for turning). Super frustrating. Could still put the umbrella together (that was a minor hassle too, but not awful), but could not fully operate it.
The most worrisome thing appears to be sturdiness. I attached a video of it open on a slightly breezy day. The thing feels like its going to fall over any second. Note, I do have ~250 lbs weighting it down.
Nonetheless, I feel like for 450+, I should get something much sturdier, not something that blows in the breeze like some old, drying laundry.
Would not buy again, and would not recommend.
Edit: Update a few weeks later. The company reached out after the 2 star review was posted. I have upped to 4 star, as they refunded the entire purchase, 500+. Not a great product still, but it was free at this point
I live at the top of the hill and have a very sunny/windy rooftop so I needed a large umbrella that can withstand a good amount of wind. This umbrella is great! Lots of shade, easy to maneuver, looks really good too. Only two downsides: 1) the aluminum isnt coated in anything so it can get very hot (although cranks and handles are all plastic so this isnt a huge deal) and 2) I wish the 11 2 tier style came in a couple more color options. Grey or white would have been awesome. The ivory beige I got is fine but a little more tan than I was hoping for based on the rest of the furniture colors.
Easy to put together, works great, plus awesome customer service! After we put it up, we noticed 4 small holes and I sent a note to the seller late that afternoon. The next day I got a response and it was a holiday saying theyd send me a new umbrella cover free of charge. Less than a week later, we received the new cover. Beyond satisfied!
Very solid construction with aluminum frame and solution dyed acrylic fabric. After a year in the constant sun, weve noticed no fading. Customer service was also excellent.
Definitely better built than i was expecting for the money. Great value. 11 feet is huge too! Covers my entire patio. Be sure to look into a weighted base if you dont plan on bolting it down

As far as the product goes, we love it! It offers fantastic shade for the patio seating. It feels plenty sturdy, had it set up in no time at all, and used it often throughout the summer. Never used it much in strong wind. I highly recommend purchasing the base for it. I dont think it would take much wind to tip it without the base.

Unfortunately this umbrella didnt work for my needs. Its really well made and easy to assemble, but unless you plan to bolt/screw it onto a deck or other surface, you are going to have to also buy the weighted base stabilizer, sold separately. We ended up returning it, and the seller was super responsive, helpful and easy to work with on the return.
Color is rich, just as pictured. Very easy to assemble and use. I hope the cables and handles hold up over time, and so I appreciate the extra set of handles.

Sturdy umbrella
