Love this cabinet. Definitely higher quality than those you buy at places like , Target or . Arrived on time. Packaging was wonderful - each piece layered with Styrofoam (which was good since driver left on porch in rain). Very easy to assemble.
This is really cute! My boyfriend put it together for me and when I got home surprised me. Its in my bathroom full of stuff. It can be a little rickety, but I try to open and close the doors with care. I would purchase it again and am very happy with it!
I thought that spending a few extra dollars would get me some extra quality, but it only got me some glass doors... I use it in the bath for linen and towels, so its sufficient for the purpose. It always helps to glue the dowels in, but I seldom do....it would help a lot with this kit. Marginally worth the money. Not for heavy duty and wouldnt hang well.
...packaged well, it looks exactly as pictured, but theres a bit of a wobble to it, it would be better if we could use the included wall mounting hardware, but pipes behind it prevent that...overall a nice design but consider something else if you cant attach it to a wall...
The cabinet is great and just what I wanted. It has, however, a slight wobble, that no matter how hard I tried I was unable to get rid of. It works well in spite of that.
nice cabinet but it was a bear to put together. we spent over 2 hours dealing with directions with no words. once we figured it out, the cabinet itself is very nice.
Wanted to just ship it back when I saw all the pieces....and so glad I kept it! Will admit I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but a little bit of quite time and it came together without a hitch. Am actually proud of my little masterpiece that I bought for my master bath. Holds plenty of toiletries and I feel so organized. Best compliment came from my decorator who thought it was an old antiques cabinet...just the look I was aiming for!
I have assembled a lot of assemble-yourself furniture lately. (We moved into a house w/three bathrooms no medicine cabinets in any of them!) I previously purchased another little, white cabinet at a bricks mortar store that was a nightmare to assemble b/c literally nothing came pre-assembled. (You even had to put the four little legs on the base individually!) By contrast, THIS cabinet had very simple instructions and had a minimal number of small pieces to join. It is sturdy and even has four little corner brackets to screw into the back to make sure it doesnt wobble or list to one side. Overall, it is one of the better build-it-yourself pieces I have bought. If you can follow pictorial directions, you should be able to assemble it with no problem.
My only complaint is that two of the cam screws had bad threads and wouldnt bite when screwed in. They simply wouldnt screw in completely. I ended up hammering them in and actually recessing the plastic piece in the hole into which they screwed to get them in all the way. It took a little extra work, and it certainly shouldnt have been necessary. However, once I got those screws in all the way, everything was pretty easy. Still, I was irked that they would ship screws with bad threads. Grrr. The assembly took 90 minutes, but it would have taken 60 if those screws had been good.
On another note... I prefer opaque glass for bathrooms so you can store personal items without letting everyone see them. I purchased some frosted spray for the doors - the kind store windows use to spray snow on their windows around the holidays - and am pretty sure it will work well. It got shipped separately and will arrive in a couple of days.
The cabinet, though, meets exceeds my expectations. It looks really cute and is sturdier than many self-assembly pieces. Its a great size can store many items. I think those who complain about the sturdiness of it simply dont have a realistic expectation of a piece like this. It is meant to store things like toilet paper, boxes of tissues, soaps, hand lotions, etc. It isnt a bookcase and cant support the weight of very heavy objects. However, I dont think anyone who actually reads the details of this item should ever have those misguided expectations. I am quite pleased with the cabinet. It does what it sets out to do... to look stylish and hold light objects.
The cabinet fits the space that I had to fill and looks nice. Unfortunately it is very flimsy and I am afraid to display any breakables in it. I guess you get what you pay for. I will be looking to replace it as soon as I can afford something that has better quality.
I wish two things----the cabinets were bigger, and they didnt wobble back and
forth after theyre put together. I wish the shelf space were deeper. I wish the packages of shelf pegs had more pegs in them; but thats four things....oops!
I needed them (2) in my kitchen since my house was built in 1889 and back
then the people were teeny-tiny and kitchen cabinets were not very large,
and closets were tiny for these tiny people, so I got these cabinets for my
kitchen to hold the extra pots pans. As far as putting them together, I paid
a handy man to do that for me. They didnt look too hard, though. I recently
put my own gas barbecue together----maybe thats why it didnt look hard.
Bottom line: theyre cute but they wobble a little bit.

Nice, but a bit pricey.

Nice-looking, sturdy cabinet, but poor quality control on parts
