I bought this chair for my 87 year old father. He has early dementia and struggles to get out of a chair. My neighbor easily assembled it its nice looking and only has 2 arrows on the remote for up and down so its simple to operate. It does not have all the bells and whistles ( massage , heat) but honestly get an electric blanket for warmth and its great otherwise it can be complicated for an elderly person. Now I want to look for a cover for it truly easy to install
The chair arrived earlier than expected. Very happy about that, as this product was purchased for elderly parent who struggles getting out of their seat.
Everything about this chair is great so far. It operates silently, and the large buttons are appreciated. Its comfortable and sturdy.
We chose the simulated leather because we thought that the indoor cats might not try to make a scratching post out of it. What we did not realize is that the simulated leather is so slick that my mom quickly began to slide during the lift assist. Our solution was to purchase a rubber mat. You can see it in the picture. If you feel that the material is going to create a slippery condition for your frail family member, perhaps choose a cloth covering or be prepared to buy a non slick rug.
This chair has two cup holders on each arm, but because the chair tilts forwards and backwards you do not want to place a FULL glass of water in these spots. Just saying. I like the sturdiness and comfort of this product.
I bought this for my Dad. Nice looking chair (something you wouldnt mind having in your living room. Very comfortable. Easy to put together. Lift works great. My Dad loves the cup holders. Perfect for us
Purchased this chair for my 84 year old mom who is 511. Not as comfortable to her as her other recliner without the lift. The lift started out raising her to a standing position which she loved. After a couple of weeks it stopped lifting to a standing position and stops before that. It still helps her to get up out of the chair but she now she mentions all the time how it use to raise her all the way up which she liked better. so you get what you pay for.
After cutting away the box, I easily slid the base into place to attach arms and back. Im 130 lbs and had no problem. Electronics were simple, just plug in. Good looking chair for my husband following his surgery. Well see how durable after more use. Product was just as descriproduct
Bought chair six months ago enjoyed using it until this week when two welds on the lift part broke at same time not able to use chair now! however I would not recommend anyone buy this.
